@breebree5510 Exactly. I once waited for the bus and a random guy approached me and asked for my number and said he would call it on the spot to make sure it is my number. Obviously knowing things can escalate I gave him my number. Not because I wanted to, but clearly I had to. The guy started calling, texting, and leaving vulgar messages. I blocked him, but ended up running into him 2 more times over the years. Both times were in busy areas fast paced areas where I was able to move away from the situation.
Poor baby. She would have been safer on the bus, she just didn’t know.

I used to sit up front by the driver when I rode the bus. So sad to hear her innocence was stolen.
On a county bus in the Gaithersburg area a few months ago, a man was watching pornography on his phone and manually stimulating himself while rubbing up next to a woman passenger. This was at the front of the bus in the seats that face one another, right across from a mother with young kids. I tried to persuade the woman to report the incident but I think she was too upset/overwhelmed. Also, in my experience, many bus drivers dgaf unless it’s one of their “pet passengers” that they favor (those people who take the same route at the the same time everyday that schmoozes and chit-chats loudly with the driver).
I rode the bus to work for 14yrs and I'm grown and I never sit in the back of the bus, trouble always start in the back

Great to see that the sex offender list is so helpful in keeping women safe. I'm beginning to believe that it was created for news shows. We need to change our sentencing guidelines for sexual offenders. Men like him are irredeemable, and they serve no public good. He desires to abuse children. This is who he is. @veronicaBolanos-mc4fc Clearly no one on the bus helped her before or after she stated she was not okay. I personally would have notified the driver there was a child feeling unsafe, or I would have called police. The other options would have been to have her sit next to me or intervene when she got off the bus, by getting off with her, or loudly asking if she knew that man because he's following her to put all the focus on the sketch situation in an attempt to discourage him from doing anything.
There was lady that sat between them she obviously tried the girl didn't want the police involved I bet the lady offered and she refused it was her choice what I don't understand is why she got off the bus if I was lady who sat between them I wouldn't leave her side
