I didn’t know this for a very long time and couldn’t understand why my braids were tight and neat but looked like it was dragging in the front. Wow watching this just made me realize what I was doing wrong while trying to braid cornrows. I wasn't braiding the first section of hair enough times before I proceeded. Like she says, it anchors the braid. Man....smh. Its the little things. 😩
