I’m from a diehard Orioles family, but I’ve always been raised to know that Cal Ripken was overrated by my father who lived during the Orioles peak in the 60s, 70s and 80s. My father doesn’t hate Cal per say, but he doesn’t praise him to be the greatest of all time for our team like most O’s fans say. I was taught that man would be Eddie Murray.
Yes, I spent a lot of time with him his rookie year ‘88 in the clubhouse where I ran the video tape of plays back for the players. Terrific guy. We listened to classic rock and Cal, Jr. yelled at us to play gospel music! We didn’t! I got there when we were already 0-for-April, so it was a crazy summer. Traber was an angry man!!!
Palmer was a major factor for 66 the beginning of O's dynasty to 83 end of it. 3 WS, 3 CY and the all time winning pitcher in O's history over 300+. Remember this 66,70,and 83 also 69 and 79 WS. He was on all of O's teams that made it to the WS. He's the Goat
Roberto Alamar.. Cal...Mike bordick....bj surhoff...chris hoiles...moose.... Rafael palmero....Brady....Adam jones....Manny....wieters.... NELSON CRUZ COULD FLAT OUT HIT BEST HITTER IDC WHAT YOU SAY .....
Cal is the most famous Orioles. He hit into way too many double plays. One WS, and that was Eddie Murray team. Jim 3 WS. 66 70 83. Jim, Eddie, then Cal. Ijs
Cal Ripken Jr. is the reason I have been an Orioles fan my whole life despite growing up in Connecticut.
Brooks Robinson. Some forget he was also a gifted hitter.
Brooks Robinson is Mr. Oriole forever
Eddie Murray

Frank Robinson if he played his whole career there
Those 6 years were enough. Two WS titles and the 1966 AL Triple Crown.
Mike Cuellar pitching, Brooks Robinson all time
Joe Orsulak lol
Terry Crowley
My choice is Frank Robinson, Brooks Robinson and Eddie Murray in that order.
Pitching would be Palmer and McNally
Craig gentry
Brooks Robinson or Cal Ripken
My thoughts exactly, but Cal's from my hometown of Aberdeen, MD., gotta say Cal!
Nah, Eddie Murray.
This is a tough one. I grew up on Cal but Brooks and Palmer are definitely apart of the discussion.
Brooks Robinson
Jim palmer the GOAT hands down no one's close
Brooks Robinson and cal ripkin hands down my two favorite players from the the orioles
Cal Ripken and Jim Palmer would both tell you Brooks Robinson is their favorite player.

Brooks Robinson. He won the first two World Series for Baltimore against superior opponents and he’s arguably the 2nd greatest 3B after Mike Schmidt
Eddie!
Brooks Robinson, you fools
Jim, Eddie and Cal go O’s
Who is the guy answering the question?
What about Brooks?
Cal is the most famous Orioles. He hit into way too many double plays. One WS, and that was Eddie Murray team. Jim 3 WS. 66 70 83. Jim, Eddie, then Cal. Ijs
Those are the only correct answers lol
Manny Machado

Manny Machado was the best 3rd bm of his generation in Oriole history but Brooks Robinson was an elite 3rd bm of his generation in Oriole history
Jim palmer and eddie murray
Cal is the greatest Oriole player. Brooks Robinson is the greatest Oriole. There's a difference.
