Love the quick and easy tutorials. Thank you.
You are so welcome!
I'm off to church will watch more after service I'm excited😍🎀
Great
Again, thank you for time on filming and show me how to create the blocks. I got in some block making today some day (thirty or forty years from now) I'll have a baby quilt made !
😂😂🙏
@@teresadownunder seriously tho, I'll have the top done by the end of the weekend and start another top. Lucky me to have a friend who owns a full quilting machine. I show up with cookies and it's off to quilt we go.
You make everything look so very easy. Thanks for sharing 👍❤️😊
Thank you for watching
I started a class a week ago for an introduction to quilting. I've since finished my project at home feeling disheartened at how awful it looked. I cut the squares right and yet sewing them together was not right. I was told that quilting has to be precise. Even a cm out will mess up a project. The project was to make a star. I didn't feel like attending the next session. But since seeing your tutorial, it has made me feel I can enjoy quilting without it being that accurate. I like the idea of being able to use my scraps whatever measurement they are. Thank you for sharing.
Absolutely. Quilting is to be enjoyed. Maybe you can start with easier blocks than a star and build your skills slowly.
@@teresadownunder I will definitely try that. I have unfortunately joined on the 2nd session of the all levels class so I guess, they did the easy one which I missed.
I've been doing this- but alway on telephone pages...never thought of skipping that step and going straight to batting- thanks!
👍
Beautiful blocks!
Thank you
Замечательный канал, всё чётко и понятно, без лишних разговоров.
What a great idea for a beginner like me, and you don't need to be a math wizard to do it. Thanks for the tutorial.
Exactly
Those are beautiful blocks. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching
What a fabulous idea!☺❤💜💙💛
My sister is an awesome quilter, but she lives so far away i dont get to see her quilts. But when she lived closer, i remember she had a room stacked 5 feet high wit books and material. How funny!
Thanks for the video👌❤💜💙💛
Some of us love buying fabric more than using it 😂😂

Thank you
👍👍
I love your videos. You have an innate ability to make everything look easy. I love how you started the QAYG without the batting. I am going to try your technique. Thanks so much!
👍
Love your videos! You make it look so easy! But I do have to point out that this is not truly "quilt as you go" because there's no backing used, so you still need to quilt it after you layer it with the backing. But thanks so much for all the great inspiration and clear demonstrations!
Thanks for the tip!
I want to make pot holders :) thanks for sharing this...I love it!

Hi, Teresa, love your videos. Are you able to do a video on where you buy your fabrics in Australia 🇦🇺 please? And yes I am an Aussie, too.😊😂❤🎉🎉

Muy bonito los trabajos, así se ocupan todos los retazos, saludos desde Santiago de Chile.
Exacto! Un saludo 😊👍
I am a beginner quilter. I appreciate your videos - I have learned a lot. Two quick (newbie) questions: 1. Do you use your walking foot when you are doing QAYG and 2. What size needle do you recommend for this method? Thanks very much!
For QAYG I use my 1/4 quilting foot if I need it as a guide. I use an embroidery needle for all my quilting. I got into the habit when I did stipple quilting for a while and had problems with thread breaking.
Muito lindos e fáceis de fazer. Parabéns! !!
😊👍
Muy bueno !!!! Desde Argentina
thank you for the tutorial
easy n beautiful, I will follow your way 😘
Thank you
Theresa,
I wonder if you have done a quilt using those beautiful Japanese fabrics, with gold, beautiful birds, butterflies, blooming flowers ? I received few fabrics as such and have no idea how to showcase them in a quilt, maybe a wall quilt versus bed quilt (?)
If you did a video on anything like that or know someone else who did, I would appreciate any idea or suggestion. TYIA.
I don’t have any quilt per se. A wall quilt is a great idea.
However I do have a video on fussy cutting teresadownunder.com/2018/06/21/framing-a-favourite-print-fussy-cutting-video-tutorial/
Perfeito

👍
Thank for sharing...
Thank you for watching
Obrigada por ensinar lindo amei!!!!!
👍😊
Do the strips have to be cut onthe diagonal if your sewing diagonally, or can they be a straight cut?
Straight cut is better.
Amei a dica com certeza vou fazer
🙏
Are you using a 1/4 inch seam allowance?
Yea I am
Excelente ...beautiful....thaks you❤
Thank you too!
Love it
😊😊🙏
HERMOSO,GRACIAS POR COMPARTIR,
😊🙏
Muito lindos, parabens
What do you do witih all the strings on the back? afraid of getting them caught when doing the next techniques- a log cabin quilt as you go Thanks
Your close up captioned "stitch in the ditch" isn't. You are stitching a small distance away from the seam. "Stitch in the ditch, at least in the US, means stitching right on the seam line, which makes the stitches invisible (except where one wobbles.)
👍
Another brilliant video to go with my book 👍🏼 please find some new Muzak it causes terrible ear worms !
🙏👍😂😂
G T --- Turn the sound off and play your own music and problem solved!!! Some of us love that little ditty.
🙏
Lovely

What machine is this. The quarter inch foot looks very sturdy

What’s your question?
Thank You so much!! Finally..I get it! TYTYTY!!!
😀 😀
Parabéns , adorei
Thank you 😊
Well done I love it.
👍
Mirando éste tutorial me di cuenta que es más fácil, y mejor explicado
👍🙏
Thanks for teaching..
🙏
Wonderful!!!
Thank you
I love that you used scraps but didn’t like that is wasn’t straight. I know it was intentional but it irked my OCD
😂😂
What size strips are you using in the first block? Could you add the backing when you are sewing the strips on the first block
The strips are different width sizes, just use what you’ve got. You can add the backing at the same time as well.
so cute!
Thank you
Fácil y divertido!! 😘😘
🌷
I love your tutorial. I cannot seem to find on your blog how to sew these together.
I have a few qayg tutorials on my blog. Here’s the list mypatchwork.wordpress.com/?s=Qayg+
