how are you decreasing or increasing the number of dots around the circumference?

    • @KnackGraphics

In Stroke Panel, when I started working with 'Dashed Line' function, I firstly entered the value of Dash itself i.e. Zero and then the Gap value defines the distance between two dashes. Once you calculate the Gap value for innermost circle ( or any circle ) and then increase or decrease the size of that circle, the no. of dots are going to increase or decrease respectively maintaining the same Gap value ass we calculated.
I hope I was able to understand your question and answer it accordingly. Just in case you want to elaborate your question, feel free to ask.

Possible reason may be the mathematical division. If you can elaborate the problem you are facing, I can give you detailed solution.

How about triangle or square? I want to make dotted triangle and square.

That's a bit different than I mentioned in this tutorial. Here is what you need to do:
      1. Draw any figure. Make its stroke size to 10 or any size of your liking.
      2. In stroke panel, tick on 'dashed line'. In first column, enter 0 and in next column enter value more than the stroke size. For example, if the stroke size is 10 then in second column, you need to enter value more than 10. Bigger value will increase the gap. You can set the value of gap as required by you.
Hope this will help you. Cheers.
