I love the chemistry between you two!! As a language major, I find the mix of accents as intriguing as the knitting itself. Yours is the highest quality knitting channel I've found. I'm a happy Shetland patron.
Thank you so much for the knitting photography mini-class, that was so helpful. I learned a lot! This is why I love Fruity Knitting episodes; even years later I can still learn so much from them!
I cant believe this is the first time I am seeing Natasja's patterns. They are beautiful! I cant wait to try and knit one of those beautiful mosaic shawls. Thank you for highlighting this wonderful designer!
Thank you so much for introducing me to Natasja's work. I often struggle with finding patterns that fit my body shape. I'm built much like Natasja and SO value a designer who models her own work and designs for a shape like ours. Even better --- I LOVE her style/aesthetic!
Knitting and enjoying my afternoon tea, I thought ‘it would be so nice to have an episode of Fruity Knitting to watch.’ Two minutes later I got an email alert; a new podcast! And with Natasja Hornby! Wow! Thank you for your wonderful podcast. 😊

Andrea, so glad you are doing so well. Andrew is watching over and is very proud of you I'm sure. Like the co-hosting with great knitters of the world. Look forward to every podcast
I love your birds in the nest. Alan's designs are so sweet! And you do it so beautifully. Your extreme knitting had me smiling all the way through. My first thought was I'm just missing the smells of an autumn walk but then I saw your birdies in the wild and I laughed out loud. And then Jack trying to climb the wall but settling for a doggy "Moonwalk" dance. I think this may be one of my favourite extreme knittings for the sheer joy it exudes! Pop Bottle Sock Yarn...now that's intriguing! Natasja's photo explanations are so simple but so clear! Such a wonderful interview in which her design process is explained. Loved it. Definitely a 5 star episode! Thank you Andrea! HUgs
Hi! Natasja is by far my favourite designer ❤ The constructions are so different compared to others. It is always a pleasure to knit some of her patterns.
Another fantastic episode! Andrea, I always enjoy the music you choose for the different segments! How fun to have Natasja on the couch with you when her episode aired!! Thanks for all of the wonderful content. My Patreon membership is SO WORTH IT!!
Natasja is one of my favourite designers. I've knit several of her stunning designs and have several waiting to be knit. It was so nice to see you together and very interesting hearing some of her thoughts both on successful photography and also her design process. Thank you for another excellent episode.
One of favourite knitwear designers and so charming as well. Great episode, thank you! And I think all of us viewers here in Canada are very excited by the East Coast coverage.
Thank you for another great episode. It was great seeing Natasja visiting you and hearing all the great details about designing and taking photos!!!! Such an informative show!
I started watching Fruity knitting about four months ago when I started learning knitting, and I was searching in your old videos and watch them during working on my projects, I found that your videos are sooo inspiring with your projects you share and all amazing people you interview, Thank you❤
I was so pleased when I received the notification that there was a new episode of Fruity Knitting to watch while knitting with my morning tea. It was a beautiful episode, thank you. Now I'll continue catching up with previous episodes.
Oh that was so lovely. Natasja is so talented. As a sewer I can really appreciate the skill she has put in her designs. Big fan of hers and her designs and after this interview I’m just fangirling even more. Thanks for another wonderful episode 🥰
This is one of your standout episodes! I loved Natasja's photography tutorial, especially placing the light source to the side of cables and her opinions about editing. Well done!
I have just come across your podcast and I love it! You are so inspiring. I am an Australian living in England. I have always wanted to knit fairisle but have not had the courage. Your work is amazing. Looks like I need to binge watch this weekend. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
I’ve had the luck to create many wonderful knits, but I think the Yara shawl is my finest creation to date. It is so intricate and lovely. Not so very difficult to make, but really an object that makes me so proud, and inspires a bit of wonder in those who see it.
Natasja is such an innovative designer. She presented workshops in Austin 2 years ago. Sadly for me, they were all booked up. But I do remember when we all gathered to eat, she would come in every evening with about 2 other gals, and with them all wearing the same designs. It was fabulous! Thank you for this interview so we can learn more about her design process/construction.
As always loved your podcast, but this time was special with Natasha.I was inspired by your Corbis sweater Andrea and finally started knitting on it , very slowly, because it is all charted and every row is different, but I enjoy it.I was born in the Netherlands and moved to Canada 41 years ago with husband and 2 daughters. Now in my late 70, love knitting and still learning, though my Mom was a fantastic knitter and I learned from her.For sure Natasha is my favourite knit wear designer.🧶🥰🇨🇦
I'm so glad you did this interview, as I might not have found Natasja's patterns otherwise. Her innovative approach to shaping and construction is fascinating to me, as both an engineer and one who sews (and has dabbled in pattern drafting). The segment on photography was also very helpful.
Hello, Andrea and Madeleine. Thank you for this lovely episode! Natasha’s shawls are gorgeous. Andrea, your nest of birds is so sweet. It was lovely to see the walk about with Jack. The interview with the Legacy Lane Fibre sisters was very interesting. I’d love to try some of their sock yarn. I also enjoyed your interview with Natasha in the Netherlands… she’s a very talented designer❤️
Such a nice treat to watch Fruity Knitting on a Saturday afternoon (to reward myself for completing some fall gardening chores!). Thanks for this very charming episode.
This episode was outstanding, with the detailed discussions with Natasja Hornby. The content of Fruity Knitting is par excellence. I'm off to look at Natasja's portfolio on Ravelry.
Wow! Natasha's shawl has totally inspired me to knit an asymmetrical shawl - with the mosaic, too! I'm also like you Andrea, because I don't wear shawls, but this one might change all that for me.
Thank you, ladies, for another amazing broadcast. ❤ The whole episode was engaging and I was just spellbound listening to Natasja's descriptions of each of her designs. She is an absolute delight. 🙂
Love this show. I think Natasja is my new favourite designers too Andrea. I want to knit so many of her designs. I love the sweater with the collar and I have just discovered that the wool she uses is in a knitting shop her in British Columbia! So excited. I would also like to knit the sweater that she designed that you are knitting and the one she is wearing as well.
Natasja is one of my favourite designers. I have knitted many of her mosaic shawls, some more than once. Such elegance. Thanks for having her on your channel.
Thank you Andrea for a great interview with Natasja Hornby. I have the Letho and Anthe patterns and look forward to knitting more of her patterns. I enjoy hearing all about her knitting journey and how she designs her patterns. I hope to visit Amsterdam in the future and spend time with a dear niece and her family.
Stunning designs, gorgeous countryside, perfect music, and an hour and a half of joy! Thank you! All the best coziness to both of you as winter awakens again.
I am so thankful for this show! As I am celebrating Thanksgiving with my family for the first time since my MIL passed away, I was thinking about this show as I know she would have loved it. This was another excellent episode 😊
Natasja is easily one of my most favorite designers ever. Her designs are always guaranteed elegant, intricate, and magnificant. If you feel like a bit more challenging knits, I definitely recommend Natasja. ❤
Excellent episode, amazing patterns!!! All of them are fantastic, but I really, really like the Corbis Swseater. Thank you for the fun episode, looking forward to the next one 😊🧣🧶
