My dad works in masonry and he sometimes travels a bit far to do some work of his own. I go with him sometimes and I will never forget the day he talked to me about being deported. He said he’s happy knowing that he gave me the best life he could and that I was able to go to college. So many things said that break my heart. I hope it never happens.
