You know what... That didn't just show what a great series that was. That was a brilliant demonstration of your editing and forethought skills. The camera angles, the music, little bits of humour, fabulous practical tips to name a few. Long may this channel continue. Thanks for all your effort
Aw, I'm sorry to see this series come to an end this year too. It's been so enjoyable and so educational. Thank you for all you do. Love this channel so much.
Sorry to see the gardening videos come to the end but we’ll it’s the end of the season. looking forward to next years season have to say taken some of your ideas forward for my own projects. but we still have your main stream videos to keep us ticking over. I’ve noticed over the last year you’ve hand balled a lot of material around. i’ve got a large amount of land and i bought a second hand power barrow. there worth there weight in gold. all you do is load throttle then put the ledger to tip. takes the back ache form the jobs.
Great content Stuart, all the best bits of a wonderful series that we've enjoyed so much. Please keep us up to date on any developments in the off season. Proper DIY, the must watch channel of 2022.
I’ve loved this series. So nice watching someone tend to their land. If we get any mild days in winter it’s be nice to see an episode of you doing a job outside. Looking forward to spring. Keep up the good work mate. 💪🏻👍🏻
Thank you Stuart for all your videos. They have provided a great deal of inspiration for projects my wife and I have planned for the new year. That last clip of the cardboard being blown away brings a smile to my face but I know that feeling. Keep up the great work
😔 that it’s come to an end. Loved all the things you’ve done in the garden and also love the way you present. The vids come over very professional the way their edited etc. Thank you.
You tease Stuart ! Hoping you start a new series for 2023, in the meantime it sounds like we'll still be seeing some updates on the out-buildings so all good ! Was a fun review of the year, which has been a challenging one for most gardeners ! What a great clip to end on - the guest of wind always comes when you least need it ! My offer stands on free plants ! Cheers AndyC.
Hi Stuart - I’m surprised to see you put those sunflowers on the compost heap. You got free bird food there plus you can keep a paper bag full of seeds for next year!Hang them up round the bird table & the birds will love them. Thanks for your easy listening info vids.
This series really has been excellent. I've loved the journey into the paddock and seeing inside the barn especially. This montage was fantastic and very inspiring.
Top man Stuart. Easy to watch, informative and a few smiles along the way. Looking forward to see how things progress next year in the paddock. Thanks for taking us along.
Thanks Stuart, watching your RUclips Videos, for the past six months has kept me Sane, whilst recovering from a Heart Attack and a Quad By-Pass. Please keep them coming, they are very informative and done with great passion.......
I quite enjoyed this Garden Series (along with the regular DYI series)...I do hope it returns for another season next year. You are informative as well as inspirational.
Thanks so much for the time and effort you put into making this archive of the summer series. It was such fun to revisit the past few months and wonder at your accomplishments. I am particularly delighted that Speedy made the cut! 😉🐌
I don't have a garden and I have very little interest in gardening and yet I found myself watching all of your garden series. I guess it just shows that providing that you make the video well enough, and add a little of your humour, and even non-gardeners will be interested enough to watch. 😁 I shall (sort of) look forward to the 2023 garden series! 👍
Thanks for the videos Stuart, they have encouraged me to get out into the garden and expand my DIY knowledge. I have a brand new decking area built using your tool tips and reviews. You are an inspiration.
Watched all the way through with a tear in my eye and a smile on my face. It's been lovely to follow the journey, pick up some much needed tips and watch the channel grow. Back to the workshop and start making some of those garden tables and storage boxes. Thank you, Stuart ❤️
Stuart it's been a great series learned new different tips and tricks regarding garden and outdoors but my favourite and very informative was the Garden Leveling project. It's been a great year and looking forward to the next one. CHEERS!!!!!
Excellent series presented in a down to earth manner, no pun intended, informatjve manner with a touch of humour. You can't hurry nature as you say but it provides the opportunity for more content next year. Thanks.
Iv watched from Western Australia every video you have done and loved everyone. Shame it’s come to a end but I hope you do some more next year. Take care mate
One of my favourite channels, the content, the editing and the presenters knowledge and likeability. Easy watching. Ps. I made a green wall following your video and it looks great. Thanks a million.
I have really enjoyed this series Stuart, as with all your content its informative, enjoyable and entertaining. Brilliant stuff, look forward to upcoming content.
Brilliant montage Stuart. I have really enjoyed this season and progress and the amount you have achieved. I too hate it when the season comes to an end. I need to go back through your vids because I seem to have missed a few. Highlight for me was you getting the lawnmower and your face when it started, Lol. Look forward to next season and all your tips.
Actually, he does! Have you seen this year's Gardner's World? Every second week or so Monty is "away" or something - I bet Stuart has done many more hours filming! :)
Stuart, I think in some respects you almost sell yourself short. As well as the actual subjects of the content, you do a great job of the camera-work/presenting/directing. Take this video as an example. I like the way you present it in a narrative of walking around the garden, clearing up, while going over memories. It's very well done.
One of the best RUclips channels there is Stuart! Couple of questions for you as my dad was a MICE & MIStruct: What is the ‘not square enough’ used for and have you got any other trade secrets? (my dad used to teach me some of those you’ve shared🙏🏽) Also your thoughts on other channels like AvE, John Ward, PhotonicInduction, ElectroBoom, Big Clive, SkillBuilder, Dereton33 etc. Also some of the foundational skills for civil engineering qualifications and pathway into the industry 🏭. Enjoy the well earned break 🙏🏽
Much enjoyed series Stuart, hope you make a new one next year. Unfortunately we have monkeys that destroy or eat all our plants in the garden…..want to try to grow herbs in the kitchen window where they cant get to them……do take care…much love from South Africa
Finished Already. What a shame. I have enjoyed your videoa and learnt a few thin, so thank ou for yuor time and effort. What are you plans now. Are you going to clear away the old building and build a proper size workshop.
I've got a question for ya........ Why have you thrown away your Sunflower? I've got at least 4 of them and I will be drying them out, using the pestles for oil or moisturiser, and the leaves as far as I know can also be used.
I cannot emphasise this enough, but I absolutely HATE gardening and videos to do with gardening. However, this series has been very, very enjoyable and I have even been inspired to think about the possibility of maybe taking in to consideration the planning, or at least the mulling over, of a few garden projects myself. 😉😊 Excellent content as always, Stu, let's not have too long a wait before the next DIY project comes along.😁👍
These were great episodes and a great series! RE: the papers in the barn... Are there any living relatives of those people in them that you know of/can contact?
it's been a great series...but you are having a laugh if you think that you won't be doing jobs in the garden over winter and that we are not interested in seeing what you are up to. I truly hope that some RUclips guru has given you advice along the lines of "you need to worry your audience out of apathy before rewarding them with more excellent content". Bring on the winter series!!
Hello from sunny Cyprus! What a fantastic series Stuart! I have learned so much by watching your videos and I do looking forward for future projects. P.S. if you’re visiting Cyprus 🇨🇾 give me a shout for some proper beer 🍻
Hi Stuart. Congratulations on this series and the fantastic videos this summer. Really inspirational stuff for all of us out here! 1 non garden related question though. Do you have a link to the magnetic end you seem to use at the end of your drill/driver? Looks useful. Looking forward to more indoor projects over the winter! Thanks 👍
It’s been really enjoyable seeing you transform your garden. Looking forward to seeing what next year brings too. Did you not want to keep the 🌻 heads for seeds for next year ( or for the birds? ). Keep up the great content. I’ve learnt loads from you 👍🏼
You know what... That didn't just show what a great series that was. That was a brilliant demonstration of your editing and forethought skills. The camera angles, the music, little bits of humour, fabulous practical tips to name a few.

Sorry to see this end, lots of Autumn work to do too…..
Loved the series Stuart! Roll on next year 👍
Thanks Simon
That’s a big plot an nice house. You’ve done well for yourself my mate
Thanks
Should keep the sunflower seed heads to feed the birds in winter or save seed for next year. Great series 👍
Quality content … one of only a few channels I keep a regular eye on.
Thank you
Been an excellent series with lots of handy tips, here's to next years series 🍷
Thanks Neil
Monty Don better look out! I see you’ve a few more cameras and angles 😊 A lot of thought, filming and editing. On top of the actual graft. Nice one
Been enjoying this series, which is odd cos I'm a really bad Gardner. Thanks Stu
Thank Glyn
Come on Stuart, what you playing at? Monty Don doesn’t put his feet up for six months of the year!!!
Great series, looking forward to Series 2.
Actually, he does! Have you seen this year's Gardner's World? Every second week or so Monty is "away" or something - I bet Stuart has done many more hours filming! :)
I'm sure you are right there!
Thanks Mark
Brilliant series looking forward to the barn restore with I know who 😁
Out next week!
Stuart, I think in some respects you almost sell yourself short. As well as the actual subjects of the content, you do a great job of the camera-work/presenting/directing. Great video as always
Thanks
Very much looking forward to the upcoming content with the recognisable Rag n Bone Brown!
At this time I cannot confirm or deny who will be helping me
One of the best RUclips channels there is Stuart! Couple of questions for you as my dad was a MICE & MIStruct: What is the ‘not square enough’ used for and have you got any other trade secrets? Enjoyed garden series. Loads to do for next year. Remember, you have set the bar. Later 😂
Thanks
Great work!
Thanks!
Will miss this series 😔
Thank you
Love the work keep it up brill videos 👍😉
Glad you like them!
Much enjoyed series Stuart, hope you make a new one next year. Unfortunately we have monkeys that destroy or eat all our plants in the garden…..want to try to grow herbs in the kitchen window where they cant get to them……do take care…much love from South Africa
Thank you. That is difficult. We had the same problem in one of our properties in Malaysia coming in from the local jungle - a real pain.
Finished Already. What a shame. I have enjoyed your videoa and learnt a few thin, so thank ou for yuor time and effort. What are you plans now. Are you going to clear away the old building and build a proper size workshop.
Stuart would you consider doing a "solar panels from grandmas" tutorial?
Given the size of your property, would rainwater harvesting be a suitable option for the house and garden. It would make a great project!
Something like that coming up
Wow 24 videos...that went quickly!
I've got a question for ya........ Why have you thrown away your Sunflower? I've got at least 4 of them and I will be drying them out, using the pestles for oil or moisturiser, and the leaves as far as I know can also be used.
Yes - exactly
Was that a cameo from Keith Rag n Bone?
I cannot confirm nor deny
Should have left the sunflower heads out for the birds and you could shred some of the compost stuff it will rot quicker.
Thought that too of the sunflower 🌻 heads...🤔
You accidentally used the word “should” instead of “could”
I cannot emphasise this enough, but I absolutely HATE gardening and videos to do with gardening. However, this series has been very, very enjoyable and I have even been inspired to think about the possibility of maybe taking in to consideration the planning, or at least the mulling over, of a few garden projects myself. 😉😊

Thank you very much Danny
These were great episodes and a great series!
RE: the papers in the barn... Are there any living relatives of those people in them that you know of/can contact?
Hi Stuart, can we assume you have a few big winter projects in the pipeline?
Thanks Andy
a great series! those hot summer days seem like months ago already 🤣
Thanks
Nice little recap but isn't the gardening season a lot longer ?
it's been a great series...but you are having a laugh if you think that you won't be doing jobs in the garden over winter and that we are not interested in seeing what you are up to. I truly hope that some RUclips guru has given you advice along the lines of "you need to worry your audience out of apathy before rewarding them with more excellent content". Bring on the winter series!!
Yes, lots to do over the winter and you may get an additional garden video or 2 if you're good but definitely not 1 a week I'm afraid.
Thanks 👍
Thanks Chris. I bought it from FFX - seach Dewalt megnetic bit on their website - £5.95 for a 2 pack.
Was that Rag n Bone Brown helping you build the roof??
It’s been really enjoyable seeing you transform your garden. Looking forward to seeing what next year brings too. Did you not want to keep the 🌻 heads for seeds for next year ( or for the birds? ). Keep up the great content. I’ve learnt loads from you 👍🏼
Thanks Sharon. TBH I've collected so many sunflower heads already I don't need anymore.
Does the mean the end of you doing a great series or is back into the garage with some super tips .I really hope it's the latter
Back to once a week DIY
Following the year you have had down south maybe over the winter or next spring do a water harvesting video ??
I will be doing something along those lines
Will you be back next year,
The land looks much bigger than 1/2 an acre 🤔 maybe looks bigger on video ?
👍
Congrats on a successful series - I’ve really enjoyed this even though I’m not into gardening that much! Learnt quite a lot so thanks Stuart 👍🏻
Thank you Adam
Composting sunflower heads?!?! Whatever next? Strip the seeds for the birds and for next year's sunflowers. What a waste.
I've stripped so many seeds already I really don't need any more.
Cat around 4 mins
For not from....
😂
