Got... Lex created the hard hitting trap sound... Now Mike will n young chop n other producers makeing money off this sound... Lol drumma boy created trap but lex reinvented the trap sound and made it harder
I hear the part around 2:55 being the beginning for a hook. Then the engineer can just pick other parts of the beat to loop for verses. There's a dope spot where the drums cut off that would be good for a bridge. It's all there. You don't have to use the beat just the way it is especially if you got the session files. You can rearrange it and make it how it needs to be: hook/verse/hook/bridge/verse etc. Lex went through a period IMO where he just had too many sounds going and needed to just simplify it to make room for the vocals.
Lex been around forever but always gets sidelined. MANY modern, huge producers have been influenced by his genius. Lex puts out bangers. They all slap.
This era of beats hit different lol
Feel like this is one of the most complex beats he's made. So many sounds and layers damn
