    Love your beautiful wedding dress. I did laugh at super extended long bottom!

      Hahaha. I'm so glad. I was like, "give me the longest option possible", at the wedding dress shop, and then it was slightly too long, but I didn't say anything lol.

    I think your hair now is so stylish. I was going get my daughters wedding dress cleaned before giving to the Salvation Army but it cost 150 dollars which I thought was crazy for giving away so I didn’t. That would be a cheap price to pay for someone else buying it second hand.

      Hi Denise! Aww, thank you. 🤍🤍 I KNOW, it is so expensive getting a wedding dress cleaned especially if it’s just a dress that you were planning to donate. Thanks for watching!

    Love this video! Thanks for talking through each piece and why or why not you are keeping - very helpful! Do you have certain stores you stick to for buying items? I have found just recently through simple living that I do prefer investing a little more into my items and foregoing target, etc. What about purses/bags? That category seems to be the hardest for me - what's in your collection and what do you keep?

    • @savannahsdwyer
      @savannahsdwyer  2 года назад

      Hiii Katie! Welcome and thanks so much for watching! For clothes, I usually stick with brands that have worked for me in the past, specially that fit me well and that have held up over many washes. When I'm tempted at Target, which is quite often, I remind myself that my Target pieces have almost never lasted in the past. I like to use price per wear as a gut check when I'm considering investing in a new piece, for instance, a $30 Target dress worn 5x is $6 per wear, vs. a $100 well crafted dress worn 20x is $5 per wear.
      Levi's, J.Crew, and Free People are the brands that I often circle back to. I like to shop them second hand on Poshmark to save money and be a little more sustainable. A few other low to mid budget brands that I find to be a great value are Uniqlo, Everlane, and Madewell.
      Oh, and bags! I totally forgot to include mine in the video. 50% of the time I use a black leather purse (medium size, boxy, long strap), and 50% of the time I just use a canvas shopper/tote. I do own two smaller trendier bags, but I am considering decluttering both of them because I hardly reach for them. In the past, I've worried about having the right bag for one-off occasions, like a wedding, but lately I'm challenging myself to get creative. For instance, borrowing a bag from a friend. I will say, bags are not my kryptonite, swimsuits are, but that's another story HA.

      Hi Lisa! Thanks for watching. Yesss, it’s the Free People Clarity Ringer Tee in Optic White. It’s an oversized fit - mine are size L and fit like an XL. 😊

    This was a great decluttering video!! Do you happen to know your item count?

    • @savannahsdwyer
      @savannahsdwyer  2 года назад +1

      Thanks for watching, Chelsea! I haven’t kept count - sorry! I’m guessing between 50-100 items including everything here plus a few other categories i didn’t include like shoes and bags! That’s a huge range haha - probably not very helpful.
