Happy you are enjoying them. Yes, Still the Beaver only lasted one season on DIsney Channel, and then a year later Ted Turner paid to have three more seasons produced under the changed name of The New Leave it to Beaver for his TBS Superstation
30 years later I’d say with sadly June, Lumpy And Eddie Haskell now passed on Wally and Beaver and spouses would be retired enjoying grandkids. Kipp would be a bank president with beautiful wife and say 3 kids. Oliver would be blue collar guy divorced with a son. Kelly would be licensed chiropracter married with kids. Kevin would be a Marine. Then Freddie would run Haskell construction he’d be family man as well.
So this is how a legacy ends..with a kiss. I would hav expected something more climatic like Pamela and Beaver getting married...but I think they will.
Okay. It was KIMBERLY who kicked Beaver out of their house and gave away her parental rights so she could be a veterinarian. Then, as Kipp and Oliver became grown men, she suddenly decided to weave her way back into their lives by using Beaver and trying to remarry him, only to walk away from him and his sons, yeah his sons because he raised them alone and he did a darned good job, she walked away from them so she could be with her foreigner man that don't even speak English, that she was even engaged to marry him at one point. So, how Kimberly came to the conclusion that Beaver walked out on her and never changed his ways is beyond me when it was HER that walked away and never changed.
People who are insecure deal with their insecurity by projecting the very thing that _they_ are guilty of on others. As many dumb things as the Beaver has done, I can easily say that it was Kimberly that never grew-up. She's still "playing" like an adult, while Beaver actually "IS" being one. No matter how tough or bitter the pill was to swallow, the Beav took all those "L" like a damned-boss. In the end, though battered and bruised he still got the "W."

Do you know if there was ever any attempt to have Chester (Buddy Hart), Penny (Karen Trent), or Linda Dennison (Patty Turner) make guest appearances on the new series?
Dunno. Of course Karen and Patty did not continue acting after couple of roles like this as children, and Buddy Hart became one of the industry's leading stunt men as Buddy Joe Hooker while continuing to act in dozens of TV shows and movies
Hi Scott, it's Fritz Duchardt again. I wanted to announce to you that I have seen all 235 episodes of the original Beaver, all 101 episodes of the New Beaver, and the 1997 film. It is the most episodes that I've seen of any TV show or franchise, meaning I have never seen any other TV show that had over 340 episodes in my life, the Beaver Franchise is the first above Gumby, L.A. Law, The Brady Bunch, ALF, WKRP, amongst 37 other TV shows that I've seen each and every single episode produced. I wanted to thank you for uploading all of the New Beaver episodes on RUclips. I chose this upload to write to you, because it is the part 2 finale of the revival series, since it ends the whole revival series. By the way, do you live in Kansas City? Because I live about 35 minutes north of there in Trimble, which is by Smithville Lake. I noticed on your uploads of the Still the Beaver Pilot Movie, the voiceover makes reference to Fred Broski; I remember him as the KCTV5 weatherman and host of the Hutchinson Kansss-based game show, Kansas Lottery Live. I spoke with him a few years ago about possibly reviving the show for me to try out as a contestant, but he told me he's retired and to rely on the Kansas Lottery, no success on that either, that show and Wheel of Fortune were the first two game shows I remember in my life.
Wow, what an accomplishment - good for you! Since original series did 39 episodes per season and 1980s had about 26, all combined I bet they have more total.episodes than some modern series like Law & Order and others that go many more than 10 seasons. Happy I could provide all them for you to enjoy an achieve that feat - thanks for letting me know. And yes, I was living in KC area in the 1980s - saw Tony and Jerry in a dinner theater play there and met with Tony and Barbara during rehearsal at a later dinner theater play they did together, and later I was reporter at Kansas City Star during Still/New LitB years. Cool that you remember and communicated with Fred Broski - I remember he also did Bowling for Dollars in addition to local weather.
@@scotthettrick9125 Well Scott adding 234 episodes of the original Beaver, plus the It's a Small World pilot from the Heinz 57 Anthology Series, plus 101 Still the Beaver and New Beaver episodes plus an hour and 28 minutes of the 1997 theatrical film in the unedited format, plus commercials, equals 340 half-hours altogether, or 170 hours altogether.
Typical Beaver, still making the wrong decisions. Unfortunately all of Ward’s wisdom never brushed off on him. In a real life situation, Pamela wouldn’t have taken him back. He definitely didn’t deserve her.
This is like the biggest "lookin-ass" moment ever for the Beaver, that this is saying something. Even worse than the Soup Bowl incident. I guess the show couldn't end any other way. It's too bad Ward was gone home to Heaven. It would have been great so hear his advice on how to deal with this one. At least he still wound up with the girl he SHOULD have married in the first-place. Go PAM!!!!

Ms Janet I think that was supposed to be a shady comment that it wasn’t clear enough. But I’m just happy to see the clip 👍 And “Larry Mondello” still has the same facial expressions!!
Kind of a disappointing end to an otherwise great series. The finale (curious to know if everyone involved with the show knew this was the end) had a great premise with Beaver falling in love and his ex-wife returning, but I didn't care for the execution by the writers. Beaver dumped a woman he was in love with after 4 months of dating by ghosting her, disappearing on her, without telling her he was getting back with his ex, a woman who walked out on him and their children. Ward had to be spinning in his grave with the way he behaved. I can't believe that June, Wally, Mary Ellen, or even Lumpy or Kip didn't tell him to at least talk to her. Hard to believe that Pamela would give him a second chance. Despite this, I have to say that the bachelor party scene was great. Ellen Maxted stole the scene. She should have gotten more credit for her performance as a recurring guest star throughout this series.
Good thoughts -- glad you watched and enjoyed much of the series. The show was contracted since 1986 to end after this season in summer 1989. There had been no discussion of renewing and the ratings weren't great and were declining. Also, Kipp Marcus was off to NYU, and Kaleena Kiff and others were not happy with having to move production to Florida during the last season. So, in reality, everyone had to see the writing on the wall and know that this was likely the end, which is why I think they did this Beaver marriage episode -- the only two-parter of the series. However, in talking with most of the cast multiple times from 1982 until 2022, and the creator/exec producer of the series, I think some of them, especially Ken Osmond, and the creator Brian Levant, had hoped it would be renewed -- Brian introduced the Kevin character to become the new "Beaver"-type kid in the family if they had kept going. Janice and some of the secondary characters would have been fine to keep it going. Tony and Jerry would have done it for the money/work - for Tony it was more about getting more opportunities to direct.
She had every right NOT to, but that's not how true love works. TRUE love is forgiving someone even if they don't deserve it. Just because Beaver made a bonehead move (as usual) doesn't mean here feelings just shut-off like a faucet. Unlike Beaver and Kimberly, Beaver and Pamela had something special. Something real. She accepted Beaver for who he was, and not who she thought he should be.
I wish I could feel good about this ending. But, I don't. There was no need for his lady love to mock him for the horrible way his wedding went up in flames. I understand she was upset with Beaver. But kicking him while he was down, that is not the right way to express it. Also, the fact she didn't express ANY sympathy or condolences or offer any apology for emotionally grinding Beaver's balls under her heel when there was no need to do so makes the kiss feel like something out of left field. "Aren't you going to try and kiss me?" Of COURSE Beaver wasn't going to try and kiss her! Why should he? His lady friend she wasn't exactly throwing any flirty, fucking-fuck-me glances his direction. Beaver may be weak, clumsy and stupid a great deal of the time, but he is not a rapist or a player or a cad, he's not going to force himself upon a lady who is receiving his company with such coldness and lack of empathy. Man, I can see why so few people look back on this show with fondness now. Booooo!!
No, Kaleena didn't walk away from TV after this show -- she did other acting parts up through 2008 and focused her energy on making independent movies which she continues to do - you can hear interview with her here: www.fancounters.com/?fbclid=IwAR3JilwgpGQaDsgU5NSIc8wc2QmtkUP0_uLrhdtqlmtQytVEcxoVQZF34YM
Worst episodes of the series (there really weren't very many that I didn't enjoy) IMHO starting at the bottom: 1 Pet Peeves- S1 2 What If- S4 3 Cursed Again- S4 4 A Casual Affair- S4 5 Dumb Luck- S2 6 Beyond the Sandbox- S4 7 A Slice of Life- S2 8 Murder in Mayfield- S2 9 Perfect Candidate- S2 10 Plenty of Fish in the Sea- S3 11 Got to Get You Out of My Life- S2
Sad their all gone now, even the kid actor who played Whitey. Sad what happened to him. Jerry Mathers, the girl who played Judy, Gilbert and two of the other boys. Who played Beaver's friends in the later episodes are still alive. But Tony Dow/Wally passed away a few months ago. Time goes by way too fast. Sad Hugh Beaumont's health got bad a year after the original series ended. There's a video of him from a interview filmed by a LA TV station on youtube. Hugh looks rough very old I think it was filmed in 80? But he was doing pretty good sharp wise. But his speech was slurred after surffering a stroke. But his mouth looked a bit pararlized. I wish he had been younger. Or they did this series in the mid 70's. With a bigger budget/studio like ABC maybe.
Of course Jerry Mathers is still very much alive and doing fan conventions and interviews almost every week - also has Facebook page and sells Beaver merchandise, and Jeri Weil (Judy Hensler), Rusty Stevens (Larry Mondello), Gilbert (Stephen Talbot), Richard (Rich Correll), Tooey (Luke Fafara) and others are all alive also, and all doing well. That's quite a few from a TV series of 66 years ago - more than many series from the 1970s and 80s where all the main cast are dead, like Mary Tyler Moore Show, Golden Girls, etc.
Clarence is failing Mrs. Rayburn's class. His father Fred Rutherford is upset. He goes up to the school after the bell rings. The children leave their classrooms. Mr. Rutherford? I am here on Clarence grade. There is a class test tomorrow it will be given to determine the final grade. Well you will see Clarence passes? And with that his lips go to hers. She shivers a bit , but returns the kiss. Oh baby! She guides him to the back if the classroom near the coat closet. She pushes a button

I wish you could have put at least two more layers of wax paper in front of it. I was almost able to recognize Larry Mondello.
???????
Wax paper???
Ms Janet I think that was supposed to be a shady comment that it wasn’t clear enough. But I’m just happy to see the clip 👍
And “Larry Mondello” still has the same facial expressions!!
It's a total disappointment seeing Beaver and Wally drinking. It's not the same. Ward would not have approved or allowed this and neither do I.
They're grown adults and they weren't abusing it! I thought that was a pretty tame bachelor party! That is till the top went flying 😂
She should never have taken him back.
@@D2Kprime I think she knew Beaver made the mistake because he wanted to make his sons happy.
Weird but entertaining
I wanted to see nwa main event
WWE Network has it I think?
ruclips.net/video/AaBST2lAwMQ/видео.html a match from the main event the week after....but they have a lot of the old main events on here
It was the B wrestling show
It was weird how oliver didn’t like beavers girlfriend. It wasn’t like his dad trying to date other women than his mom with something new
When he talked to Freddie and Bomber they told him he’d be sent to military school and his grandmother put in a home
Now that's the Girl for Beave! Should have Married her in the first place GO BEAVE!
This version of Leave it to Beaver was horrible surprised it lasted past the pilot .
Not only past the pilot but for four years and more than 100 episodes
I wish I could feel good about this ending. But, I don't. There was no need for his lady love to mock him for the horrible way his wedding went up in flames. I understand she was upset with Beaver. But kicking him while he was down, that is not the right way to express it. Also, the fact she didn't express ANY sympathy or condolences or offer any apology for emotionally grinding Beaver's balls under her heel when there was no need to do so makes the kiss feel like something out of left field.
"Aren't you going to try and kiss me?"
Of COURSE Beaver wasn't going to try and kiss her!
Booooo!!
Like the original song betrer loved that show loved eddie and wally im so so sad tony dow died eddie died also loved that show
Patty from love Sydney. Kalina walked away from TV after this show I believe. Too bad, she was a little cutie, she could have went far
Worst episodes of the series (there really weren't very many that I didn't enjoy) IMHO starting at the bottom:
1 Pet Peeves- S1
2 What If- S4
3 Cursed Again- S4
4 A Casual Affair- S4
5 Dumb Luck- S2
6 Beyond the Sandbox- S4
7 A Slice of Life- S2
8 Murder in Mayfield- S2
9 Perfect Candidate- S2
10 Plenty of Fish in the Sea- S3
11 Got to Get You Out of My Life- S2
AGusto should’ve hooked up with Pamala
The actress playing Wally's wife looks a little too much like a young Barbara Billingsley. GEE WALLY, HOW CREEPY!!!

Still the Beaver was funnier.
I still love the original. Anything after that I found ridiculous. Plus it's hard looking at Beaver as a grown man.
I enjoyed seeing him grown up.
I always liked Leave it to Beaver. This, not so much.
This was weird AF
This show was crap.
And that word could be used to describe your decision-making in continuing to watch shows you think are crap
@@shettrick Watch it? I didn't watch it. I checked it, saw a few minutes, commented, buh and bye.

Always wanted to slap Eddie and I see that hasn’t changed. 🫤
The Haskells were funnier than the Cleavers lol
