Imagine Dustin won by jumping the Guillotine all 5 rounds? Every round as soon as he has an opening, Guillotine. His whole training camp was just holding onto a Guillotine for as long as he could for dear life.
It started out with him holding on for about 5 minutes until toward the end he can do it fairly consistently for about 3 hours.

hear me out. Dustin is the only top of the division guy that gave some trouble to khabib, that has had the opportunity to fight these dagestani wrestlers a second time. He lost badly to khabib, but he also learned the power and wrestling capabilities this dagestanis have. Khabib was a bigger weight bully than Islam (and therefore a probably more tiring wrestler to wiggle with), so he might be able to wrestle Islam better, although Islam is in my opinion technically better and more balanced fighter than khabib so he might just overwhelm him technically.
I think if anyone in the division has a chance against Islam, this might be poirer only because he has tasted already the pressure a world-class dagestani sambo wrestler brings. He might have prepared the fight better than the average contender because of this. It's difficult to think of poirer as champ because he always has lost the title fights (and he does struggle with wrestlers), but, he has also showed he can learn from his mistakes with connor. I think he is not hopeless. He just might be able to pull a strickland on this.
I really like the talent and discipline islam has as a champion, and it's beautiful to witness his legend being made so dominantly, i really want him to surpass khabib as abdulmanaps favorite student, but, dustin has shown to have so much heart, part of me really wishes to see him fulfill his dream of becoming champion.
