And I’m paranoid that glue is gonna let go as well. I think the best move would be to pay $69 for a set of two brand new mirrors and motorized housings. I ordered some for my truck after making this video. I thought they would be a lot more expensive than that.

Worked fine just as described. Just have the glass in position when attaching. You won't be moving it after it touches the backing.
