- The United House of Prayer for All People of the Church on the Rock of the Apostolic Faith is an evangelical Christian group founded by Cabo Verdean Marcelino Manuel da Graça. In 1919, Grace built the first United House of Prayer For All People in West Wareham, Massachusetts, and incorporated the United House of Prayer for All People in Washington, D.C. in 1927. The United House of Prayer for All People runs soul food restaurants that serve the communities and holds annual "Christian Saints" marching parades in honor of its past bishops. The United House of Prayer for All People is noted for its public street baptisms, sometimes performed by a fire hose, and for its shout bands.
It seems like the current Bishop is talking more about God instead of magnifying man..So there is Hope.. I love the music..

I just love the brass bands at their services. It’s unique to UHOP and worth visiting
I was born and raised in this church. For 21 years this church and the Brass band that I played on The Kings Of Harmony in New Haven,CT kept me alive and off of the streets but when my great grandmother died my eyes where opened to things that I did not understand. Then the second Bishop died. It was at this point that God pushed me into another direction that has since saved my life.
So all that I can say is that were it not for the Uhop and Bishop McCullough I would not be Muslim and I know that I would be dead. It was what he taught to the people that saved my life and pushed me into the direction of islam and I will be forever Greatful to him for that.

I've been in the church since I was 3 years old and never once have anyone approached me and told me that I needed to call the Bishop Daddy nor did they approach me and tell me I had to do anything it's all voluntary. If you want to be a part of it you can if you don't Then don't. i just realized something. when i was young, the grace generation used to go up when daddy mccullough addressed the house and memorialized daddy grace. i remember being moved by how much that generation loved and missed him. when daddy madison did that memorial to daddy mccullough my heart went through the roof. i am not lying when i say we had some high holy ghost times in daddy mccullough's day. madison was great, but the truth is he was in the afterglow of grace and mccullough. i wish nothing but blessings for the house of prayer. i am so thankful for those years.

But now UHOP is made a business industry, Bailey aint got nothing and never did, The UHOP only had something in that time when Sweet Daddy Grace and even with Sweet Daddy Mcollough. I live in Los Angeles, CA and these last days you can see how that church has lost thousands of members, this week they have been doing there convocation on Vernon Ave in LA, and you can see how they have lost many members for the same reason that they start understanding bailey industry in the UHOP, im not against the UHOP but only sharing information that is real, Look for the truth and that is in Jesus Christ only.

yes...This is the problem i have with the HOP...They mention daddy more that Christ...I am life long member and I was Daddy Madison's maid In Buffalo ny but I haven't faithfully gone to the Hop in Years(just during tour and convocation) because of this issue!!! Every song sung, Jesus is replaced with daddy, Testimony line is all about Daddy, the love marches during convocation is a circus...I have two children and would love them to be in the HOP but not under wrong teaching. I want them to Know Christ Jesus and God. My son has only been to the Hop 1 time and my Daughter who is 10, only 4 times!!

You're ASS-uming that people watched the video. I have friends (and a family member) who have been affiliated with the HOP since I was a child. I didn't have to watch the video because I already know the chicanery that happens at the HOP. I am still waiting for any member to show me how membership has benefited them or their family in a way that can NOT happen unless one is a member of the HOP.
