Wow, the intro gave me goosebumps as it did at cobo hall in Detroit! When Don Ingle came up out of the floor wrapped in a black cape and the incredible drumming by Ron Bushy, the screeching beautiful 🎸 work, the light cage around Ron making different lights pop with every drum beat. Watching a cop moving in one spot swaying to every beat of the drum. One incredible night! Will always be my favorite love song! Thank you Ironbutterfly, 50 years and still so clear in my head! RIP Ron, Doug, Larry, and Lee!
Great song! Timeless! How many times I have listen to this? Many, many. BUT, ..., somehow every single time this song is on , right away that one scene from the movie "MANHUNTER" shows up in my head! What a powerfully moment it is for me! An old movie(1986 with William Petersen) and still, even a moment ago, as soon as i `ve heard the music, MANHUNTER movie is back on instantly again. Fine with me! Great movie! Great music! Great time! Great feelings! Regards, Thomas(Poland-then, Chicago-now);
It took me a week to learn that solo..every time i played it seem to get better..or i got better..don't know if i could do it again..at 67.. I have to say Doug's still got it..
One of the best concerts I ever saw Cobo Hall Detroit Michigan with Steve Miller band they were ok but Ironbutterfly brought the house down. Of but course the 2 grams of hash I ate kicked in really helped!😅
You partially are right because it isn’t the whole band 🙏 - it‘s only Martin Gerschwitz, actual member of Iron Butterfly - jamming with us here in germany…

Beautiful every time!!
This is one beat that has never left my head & i'm72
I remember every time Cream's "Sunshine of Love" while ı listen...
I had just thought of the same song and then came right upon your comment! I think it's the tom-toms and repetitive bass lines that put them together.
It took me a week to learn that solo..every time i played it seem to get better..or i got better..don't know if i could do it again..at 67..
I have to say Doug's still got it..
No one performs the song as written and have yet to hear anyone play erik branns solo

Also bitte, Iron Butterfly? In a Gadda da vida ?
Übt noch ein wenig.
We’re all looking forward to the video of you and your band playing it better than these guys, who are not Iron Butterfly.

In the Garden of Eden
Como hubiese sonado en un hammond...
Far out
The intro basically uses timeless classic music that others wrote, not impressed.
Old and tired sounding. ..give it up...Robert at 67
sacré batteur ce gars !!
Sorry but they butchered that great song. Doug Engle, Ron Bushy, Lee Doorman and Erik Braunn they are not!
Super
