You could look at some of the 2.36" (60 mm) racks with 1" (25 mm) holes. I bought a foldable one in Europe for ~200€ including spotter arms and j-cups. I measured the one i bought, and it was made of 3 mm(~11 gauge) thick steel . It's possible to fit most of the standard 3x3x1" accessories if you cut and glue some UHMW to them. And the accessories you can find for 2.36"x2.36"x1" are usually considerably cheaper.
Walmart also makes a stairclimber now - I'm just waiting for the lawsuits. You should try that next. It's insane how low they priced it, I guarantee it won't last 6 months.
I wouldn't be so sure that it won't last or is any worse than other products. 90% of fitness equipment sold here is chinese manufactured with a logo slapped on it. Things like nuobell, the old rep fitness products, ect are all from China. $1500 is a pretty fair price imo.
The Inspire rack from Costco on sale at $500 was a great value for me. Full price is still good and you never know if the sale price will ever return. Hole spacing and overall height could be better but it is heavy duty and takes at least some PR5000 accessories.
Such an in depth review on a budget piece! I'm impressed by your professionalism. I'm not in the market for a budget rack, and yet, still couldn't help but watch the whole thing. What is wrong with me!? LOL.
This was a very entertaining review and a lot more informative than some other review channels I’ve seen. But by far the best bit in the video is at 8:40. Blink, and you’ll miss it! PS Wynie has very impressive depth on those squats in the b-roll!
For irony’s sake, you should’ve loaded the pull-down with Eleiko plates. Loved the bench bit during the cross member section. And, at least you found the perfect rack to complement the Yaheetech bar.
I use a similar cheap china-made-rack from Hulkfit. I don't have a garage, so my setup is literally outside and exposed to the elements. So this is my cheap, good-enough-for-now rack. I have plans to build a shed for my eventual home gym. Once that's up I'll invest in something of better quality.
2:07 Clean form Wynie! I have this rack and agree. This rack is not good for heavy weight. I am biding my time to upgrade. The late pulldown and low row are surprisingly good.
Can you do review on ULTRA FUEGO Power Cage, Multi-Functional Power Rack with J-Hooks, Dip Handles, Landmine Attachment and Optional Cable Pulley System for Home Gym
Good review. At first glance, it looks decent enough at such a low price point. Good on pointing out the placement of the bottom bar / brace getting in the way of moving a bench into place or being able to comfortably squat in there. The hole size really limits the functionality or ability to upgrade any sort of attachments or add safety spotter arms, etc. That row attachment for 100 bucks sounds cheap, but I'd really be unhappy with it. The amount of excess cable is terrible and that foot angle is laughably funny. Who would even bother placing their feet at that angle? Really shows how the Fitness Reality budget rack does simple and affordable better.
Love the video! I've been really getting into your videos lately. I was wondering if you could recommend a good FID weight bench that they sell in the UK because I liked the REP AB 3000 that you've shown in some videos but REP wont ship internationally and we all know the best gear comes from the USA.
I know this isn't part of this video but you mentioned this in the last video when will you be reviewing the Titan fitness nemesis functional trainer? I'm really interested in that I want to buy one but I'd love to see your review first. Thanks.
Well I think you hit it on the nose. It is a good price ($200). I think the $200 suckers people into buying this rack. Unfortunately all the down falls will be worked through. When it comes to a forever rack I say buy once and cry once.
I am looking for a much taller full rack for doing pull-ups as well as weight lifting. I have 19’ foot ceiling! Just do not care about the black color! Really like gloss white for my rack color preference! Not many racks that come in white that is just a rack. Have to get it with pulldown cable crossover included and it junky accessories to unpack and throw away in the garbage. You go premium, $5000+ that is, into the Lifetime gym club equipment and 10 gauge thickness.
It could be handy for people that don’t plan to go heavy. Maybe like a light lifter. Like you said, do we really need a pr5000? No but that’s the problem with hobbies lol
11 gauge steel weighs 5lbs / sq ft. 16 gauge is half that. It's 2 x 2; subtract the holes, interpolate and compare with listed dims and shipping weight. Answer / trustworthiness is commensurate with listed 4 foot height -> " 82"x 48' x 47" (L x H x W)," Maybe the rack is intended to lay on its side? That's some airport quality nylon, right there, I tell you hwhat.
So I was building out my Hydra rack on the Bells website, and when I got to the accessories section, I kept thinking things like “do I do the land mine or Rogue’s?” Would you consider doing a Rogue vs Bells attachment by attachment video for us?
I'd have to figure out how to do that one. We definitely need some kind of attachment resource but maybe an article that can be easily updated would work better?
I'd rather buy something with a bit more honesty. There is deceit in specs and in design. It is obvious that the designers of this power rack do not lift, and did not try even the most basic exercises such as bench press. You really should not trust some unknown Chinese guy with no lifting experience to design your rack. Money is best spent elsewhere. You deserve a better design.
@@GlucksGym already sent it back. It was junk. Found a used no name rack on marketplace that was much better. And the guy threw in a free Arch Nemesis bar.
I was looking for a reasonable cable system. I looked for 6 months and found power racks with plate loaded functional trainer cable systems. Three companies sell the best inexpensive ones that I found. E.R. Kang, Mikola, and Major lutie. Already having a rack, I really just wanted the cables without breaking the bank. I bought one from E.R. Kang for $734 to my door. It is a great plate loaded functional trainer. It also is not a bad rack. The rack can hold any weight I can do but the JCups and safeties I would not trust with more than 400 lbs. Also U can't use attachments from REP or Rogue because the uprights have crazy measurements. Really only attachments from the company will work and they dont make them very strong. I swear though to get a $734 functional trainer that doubles as a rack for up to 400 lbs. is Very Cool. It's 14 Gauge steel and mine has laser cut numbers on the uprights. Major Lutie and Mikola do not offer laser cut uprights but Major Lutie does offer a 3x3 11 Gauge Steel power rack without the cables, of course, in 3 colors for $750 to your door. Compare that to REP and Rogue and it's right at half price. Just goes to show us the mark up REP and especially Rogue put on their racks. 11 Gauge steel is 11 Gauge steel so other than having a fancy company name on it there is no reason to buy REP''s or Rogue's over Major Lutie's. Still, me and U are not buying a Major Lutie rack over REP or Rogue cause we want the best but for most people, they would be perfectly fine with Lutie's rack. I sure would not trust a $200 rack though, the cables are my reason for buying it and we use them every workout. Take Care

Hulk fit and it’s cable cross over machine. Also see if it works with your fitness reality rack, because I totally have the fitness reality 810xlt.
