I have always wanted to hear these alarms!!! Basically my favourite alarms are the older ones and I've always wanted to be there when the go off. Thanks for the video!!!
Malls are having Fire Drills and the 7002T doesn't sound too bad and honestly sounds perfect for this environment. Imagine a Wheelock NS going off as well? Now that is something that grabs attention
I honestly love when Fire alarms do Temp 3 it just has this nice sound that really makes you wanna listen. There was a Fire at Maplewood mall and a children's ride was smoking like are you guys kidding me? They just stood there and watched it burn. Like a kid's toy is melting and nobody even thinks to pull the alarm? Go get help instead of sitting there watching it melt. Nobody thought about pulling an alarm and getting a Fire Extinguisher. Like come on people was the HS Fire Drill not enough to teach you about Fire Safety?
Speaking of Grease Fires do you know the safest way to put one out? Pour some Baking soda on it. In a big situation use a Fire Exstinguisher and make sure if you can't put it out then make sure you call 911 and get out. Never and I mean never ever pour water on a Grease Fire the water cause a thick cloud of smoke to form and then you have even more damage then what you started with. Always make sure you know where the nearest pull station is and if you have smoke detectors make sure you hear them. Always replace batteries and make sure to Test them. Do a Mini Drill if you have to so the whole family knows what to do. God forbid something should happen at night.
This gives me an idea of what the Buckland Hills Mall in Manchester CT would sound like during a fire alarm (C7001T, and 7002Ts) except replace the AS' with ZNS (replacement for dead C7001Ts), and add in a few U-NH-MCS, and U-MMTs (add ons).
Seems to be in better shape than the setup at the Buckland Hills Mall. The Buckland Hills Mall, reminds me of the Pierce building at Crotched Mountain Rehabilitation Center, where it sounds like they need to rewire the building signals and/or retire the Simplex 2001 FACP. (which does continuous, BTW)
To follow up on a previous comment I made: I finally got to hear the Buckland Hills Mall system last month. It sounded exactly like this, but with ZNS instead of AS, and one sickly Faraday horn/strobe. Only difference, most of the shops closed up when the alarm sounded, and the mall was fairly empty from I assume people actually evacuating (I was told by security it was a false alarm, and could continue to walk around if I choose to which I did).
A sickly sound-> typical of Faraday, at least the earlier ones, even though late ones have a tendency to develop a crude sound, LOL. ( But, the 6020 (AKA '9833) and 6120, (AKA '9838) seem to have random deaths, at least roughly 1 out of roughly 10, or 2 out of roughly 10. :( ) But I will take a loud & burbling Faraday over a smooth & laughably quiet Faraday any day! The old Wheelocks, OTOH, weren't the regression that they are now! The newfangled Wheelock management, is apparently a regression!
I’ve actually went there last year I believe, or 3 years ago, and found out that there are more different alarms. Saw some Simplex 2901-9833’s on pillars in some store, located by one of the entrances. There were no strobes, just 9833 remote horns on one of the pillars, very interesting.
our mall is so much smaller, and it has a voice system set to code three, no voice evacuation message though. However, a mall like that should have a voice system set to slow whoop. I don't c how people will respond to horn strobes in a building that large set to continuous
Thank you for this message. Danbury Fair mall is in need for new a new fire alarm system because it will be much better to give people's attention to leave the building in case of an emergency. The alarm could say,, your attention please, there is a fire emergency in the building,, please leave the building by the nearest exit.. Do not use the elevators. For now, let's say people are probably not going to respond to horn strobes in this building set on continuous.
youd think that people would want to get as far away from this screechfest as possible.... AS's are total earrape.... LOL THIS ONE GUY HAD HIS FINGERS IN HIS EARS
They really need to update this system to an addressable system, with voice evac... like Trumbull and other updated malls are - as if there was really a large fire that needed evacuation - their could be tragedies! Glad I don't shop there much!
Um....Wheelock 7001t's dont sync. Theyre all different and its the strobe that makes the sound. If there was no strobe it be as if it was on continueos (sorry for spelling

Me to i like those but i heard mechanical horns on march time lol last time i heard a mechanical horn

These ones are actually 7001Ts and there is also an AS not an NS

" oh look the fire alarm is going off, let's carry on shopping!"

OMG I was there a few years ago and they went off!!
I work in this mall. I heard it was a grease fire at Panda Express that set off the alarms. Of course I wasn't even scheduled that day. Oh well haha
At least the old skool horns aren't a pathetic loser like an EST Genesis!

Wheelock AS's or MT's on code 3 with 7001t's. An interesting and loud system
Its 7002t's Wheelock AS Alarms, theres 1 EHS DL 1 at the front of the building, and some more wheelock horns
(ive been here alot)
@@hunterduncan362 Nah brother, those are 7001t’s
@@CODMarioWarfare no there were a bunch of 7002T’s
7001T's! Really cool!
I can also hear either Wheelock AS or MT horn strobes on code-3
BTW they are As's and there is one MT by one exit. and there is a 7002t also
Safety Security Alert I hate the ASs so much
OF course, if its conneticut, theres siemens!
Hmm the music got louder lets continue shopping
They sound differently on the east side of the mall. Also in Sears, and JC Penny. Maybe in Primark?
I hear wheelock 7002ts as well.

Leave the building because you may never know it could be real one day.
WITF I THINK THE DRILL AAAA LOUD I JUST BY ALARM
fire alarm or cicadas?
Man I need to go to Danbury fair mall
The New Round 1 has a Voice Evac Fire Alarm I think. Now that's the first area to have it
I love the alarm at 4:23 thats an A Flat note

Just another day of shopping at the mall.
I like the old school alarms
Did you ever find out what set them off?
0:36 that is a 7001t
it's been a long time since I've heard a fire alarm in the apartment
Are those wheelock 7002's and 7002T's
they are wheelock 7001ts
Damn that must be the healthiest wheelock 7001T in the mall (6:50)
They really need to update this system to an addressable system, with voice evac... like Trumbull and other updated malls are - as if there was really a large fire that needed evacuation - their could be tragedies! Glad I don't shop there much!
Im Like 99% Sure it's a Gamewell Addressable System (Ive seen modules in pull stations made by gamewell in Bg 12's)
I would have given my left arm to be there
A fire drill inside the mall
I know and this is what we practice them for.
I was at jcp during that time.
Did you Evacuate
5:22 The wheelock 7001 is missing the strobe
That particular horn was a flush mounted 34T. This mall (which I live near) has a mix of 7001T's and 34T's.
4:26 - That must be the store Bloo bought the dancing cacti from. (Like if you get the reference.)

Wheelock mt and 7001t
Why is no one doing anything. Lol
