I have been to Vosburg about 6 years ago. Lovely quaint little town, with lovely friendly people. Seems like nothing has changed. Thanks for bringing back memories.
You're so right! A wonderful town with great people, it was a pleasure to visit. They take such great pride in their town. 🤩 Glad you enjoyed the stroll down memory lane.
We love your videos! My husband and I live in the UK, Im South African and he is from the UK. I finally convinced him to do a Karoo Roadtrip with me and he discovered your channel after researching a few of the places I told him we’ll visit. We have so much fun watching the videos and we are looking forward to tread in your footsteps in December. Safe travels!
Thank you so much! 🤩 You guys have so much to look forward to and you're going to have the time of your lives. Do warn him though that he may just fall head-over-heels in love with the Karoo! 😉😍
@@DustBugsTravel swing by Loxton early December or from Feb to April/May and come for lunch - we have a place there and I would love to make you my famous toasted cheese and ham sandwiches 🤣
It is truly a stunning town and we found it so authentically Karoo, we enjoyed every moment of our time there and hope to be back one day. 😍 We appreciate you watching and are happy to hear that you enjoyed the video, thank you.
To your left was the hostel for the farm and others. It was a boarding school. Was there for 3 yrs. The school and behind it was the sports field and netball court.
Three years is quite a long time, so you must've gotten to know the area very well. As we were driving through the streets, we were wondering how much it has changed over the years. 😊 Thank you so much for watching.
We were looking forward to our visit to Vosburg and was not disappointed. It was worth every moment we spent there and our accommodation was fantastic. The garden was particularly pretty. 💚
Today I for the first time watched one of your videos and decided to see if you have been to Vosburg. And low and behold you were there in Aug. You stayed in the B+B were my sister and brother-in-law has their house on the oppesite corner, right side if you back is to the B+B. The greyish house. Man my heart just about left my body. And if somebody watched this 2 part video and are on their way there, just like to mention that there will be a good, old fashioned bazaar there this weekend. Go and visit a well loved, well looked after Karoo dorp.
Welcome, we're so happy you joined us! 🙋🏼♂️🙋🏻♀️ What a small world it is. We absolutely loved, loved, loved our stay in Vosburg and at our accommodation. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and informative about the area and we found the entire town so charming that we often think back to our time there. Well-loved, well looked-after. You hit the nail on the head. Thank you for the info about the bazaar, wish we could go! 🤩🥳
Haai! Ek is ook n Steenbokkie! 28 December. Lousy time to have a birthday. So glad to find kindred spirits who also love the atmosphere and history of small Karoo towns.
This Steenbokkie is on 4 January and agrees with you fully that's it's a lousy time of year. Everyone is still celebrating Christmas and New Year and fed-up because they have to return to work and couldn't give two hoots about celebrating a birthday. 🙃 We live many hours away from the Karoo, but it calls us back time-after-time. And we're always happy to answer that call! 😍
Your assessment of the town is spot-on! 👌🏻 It is a fantastic place to visit and the townsfolk take such great pride in their town. It was a memorable experience for us! 🤩
How amazing! We're surprised at how many people have a connection with Vosburg that stretches way back. It's a lovely town as I'm sure it was back then. Hopefully our video brought back happy memories for you. 👌🏻
The only place we'll ever travel to with a flask, is to Kruger where it is exclusively reserved for Milo. 😁 We're happy to order takeaway cappuccino or hot chocolate whenever we feel like it. I'm not sure what fuel you're referring to, but I fuel myself at least three times a day, just not always on camera.
Ek is so bly julle wys die Kerke dis altyd inresant en die skoole en koshuise dis so pragtig dankie dankie geniet dit ek sal dit nooit kan geniet nie maar saam met julle kan ek dit geniet dankie

I am glad to see the Municipal Offices are still in good nick. I use to audit them in the seventies...nice little town.
Wow, interesting! So you must know the town quite well. I imagine it hasn't changed much the past few years. Thank you so much for watching! 👌🏻

The Dutch reformed church buildings in all the little towns are simply amazing
We couldn't agree more! And the one wants to be more stunning than the other. ⛪😊

Front door opening direct onto the road, a common feature in the UK…..crazy!!!!!
If i'd seen this before I would have retired there instead of Villiers. A fab place.
Lovely video - I am planning to escape from Jozi to get a mind makeover
The church is so beautiful 👌👌👌👌
The walls of that house that you are staying at so think typical Karoo
