I'm not defending the speaker, I don't have one, and have never listened to one in person. But I feel like it's only fair to point out for anyone who comes across this review while researching this speaker (like I did), that Alpine specifically states that this speaker is specially tuned for OUTDOOR sound, and will sound better OUTDOORS.
NFC is not a type of Bluetooth, it's a technology where you bring 2 devices close enough to identify themselves to each other just how you do the touchless pay, its used here to pair your phone to the speaker by exchanging Bluetooth information without going through the setup manually
I have the Bose bluetooth speaker. I think it has excellent sound quality. I done remember getting distortion when cranking it but I may have to go test it now.
Milwaukee m12 battery head unit, 6.5s and 4x6 speakers in a harbor freight apache case best bluetooth speaker ive ever had hands down hot swappable batteries will also run off cigarette lighter outlet in car
Yeah I used it for a while on my jobsites as well. I use a monster rockin roller 270 now. I try not to go to nice. My guys always get spray foam on everything
Man I bought a 15 dollar speaker from Walmart that was some limited time off brand China “junk” that’s not junk better then speakers 3 times it’s price lol
@@Thumper68 mine is called savio is the last video I posted on my channel sounds great for such a low price i was going for jbl but I gave this guy a shot and I was impressed and I said you know what I prefer couple bucks in my pocket than jbl LOL

It needs to broke in it takes about a month of using it to break it in i have a megaboom and and hyoeboom and thats how it works with brand new speakers
I'm looking for a good quality blue tooth speaker that has a sd chip spot because where I work doesn't allow cell.phones or blue tooth speakers so I've been on a search to find a good quality speaker with this wish jbl and bose and alpine would add this one thing to there speakers because I don't really want to buy a cheap knockoff
I feel like Alpine has lost their focus in the past few years. I used to swear by Alpine. But their focus on, like you said, "lifestyle" has really taken away from that premium sound and top notch quality product focus they used to have. I kinda also feel like this is another one of those unnecessary products of quarantine boredom.
It looks nice, great functionality, great if you love Alpine. It’s mostly always about bass and sound quality, so I wonder if it’s the amplifier portion causing the distortion or if it’s trying to get huge bass and end up not getting huge bass in return it causes mid’s, and highs, to suffer….

uhh this review is silly tbh, the speaker is actually a lot better than what you guys are saying about it.
How much they cost??? EDIT $200 at Crutchfield. Someone's smokin the good stuff. WOW.
JBL has been charging more for pretty much the same speaker for years. The JBL Xtreme
$200 at least put the Alpine name on it

Im returning my alpine it sucks, it has zero bass and you cant adjust it.

Hey guys , there was a video where dean showed a Jeeps Alpine sub-woofer with quad voice coils it had to be late 2018 and newer Wrangler
UE Megaboom get one great Bluetooth waterproof had it for 5 years linkable etc……very satisfied
