my god, everytime i listen to this i just get goosebumps bro, so good, wish i could listen to this as an actual song rather than having to hear the the process, shit would be fire, amazing work
First off, this is fantastic work. You can really hear the enjoyment you get out of creating and assembling these tracks. I love watching the process and progression of adding in each layer of instruments. I do agree with you and other commenters that the trumpet wasn't as clean and sounded a little 'hot' (Sampling? Codecs? High gain on that channel maybe?). However, I disagree that it was a bad choice to use. I thought it complimented the low brass instruments and fills the melodic tenor that would normally be played with a string instrument (viola, violin, etc.). Maybe a little more refinement on that (excluding technological limitations). But overall, this is an excellent cover! Thank you!
Fair comment, its because its a live stream and ignoring everyone for 20 min isn't great in that format. I'm still working towards the day where I make specific RUclips content. Thanks for listening :)
@@JonathanOng im not criticizing....dont take me wrongly....god know tht im amazed about how you can find more talented people on youtube than in the spotlights in the music industry...and you are no exception....just sharing my 2 cents....wish you the best and i´ll be certainly looking at your others works, buddy =P
Perfect sound except for that high pitch, scratchy, brass instrument. Felt wrong and irritating with the rest of the music. A trombone, or even trumpet, would have been better. Flute could have been really good. Otherwise, so so good. This is just my silly opinion as a music enthusiast. Just didn't fit imo
Actually I agree the brass instrument didn't sound good here. What you're hearing is a trumpet sample; its too loud in the mix and the mixer its going through also degraded the sound. We use the same sample still, but 2 years and several thousand loops later I think I mix it in better. (And we upgraded the signal path massively).
just watched my first stream with this guy & i just noticed now, the guy who requested this very song was there in the stream, legendary
This the kind of content I look for nowadays
