Nice! I like how you actually show the recipe and parts you took from other figures. I have been dying to make a custom Casey Jones action figure, but I want one with a removable mask, and so far I haven't found a head sculpt that I think would look good as Casey. My plan for the mask is to just take one of the old playmates figures and then dremmel out the head until just the mask is left. I've done this with other masked figures and it usually works pretty well. I've got to pick up another playmates figure though. I still have my figure from when I was a kid, but I just can't bring myself to wreck it.
Awesome Casey Punker Mike! The Dragon legs & torso are Casey custom staples Lol. The combo of the Ambrose/Nuke upper half looks great. Always neat to see what those old school Playmates sculpts had that weren't painted.

Covering the process of a custom from start to finish, while explaining terms such as "sanding", "wash", etc.. I ask because your videos are quite in-depth and informative. So, we (the viewer) would benefit a great deal from watching one of the best in the field explaining the process. I have no experience in painting action figures whatsoever. It would be nice to see how a pro works on a custom fig... Just a thought.
Peeped your video for the torso crack, and added it to my list of vids to pay attention to for insight on customizing figs. What about leg swapping, how do you crack the waist area for that?
Bj Lewis Yup. Any hard, hollow plastic has to be cracked open (torso, chest, crotch, upper thigh). The rubbery plastic pieces like legs, arms, etc. can just be heated and popped off.
If you make a golf club, maybe you;d go for the cricket bat, too. Though, you've gotta know what a crumpet is to understand cricket, so maybe that's too out there.
For some of my old Casey Customs, I purchased a lot of 4 Tiger Woods figures on EBay and just used those clubs that are perfect in scale for your Casey, much more than my old one

At my local hobby shop( no others) I saw some 1:12 miniature golf clubs.Those would work with 1:12 figures.
