- How luxury motorhomes are made! A walk through the Morelo motorhome factory in Schlüsselfeld, Bavaria showing how these luxury vehicles are made. Starting off with the Morelo models we see the furniture construction workshop before moving onto the vehicle assembly and the place where the walls are assembled seeing the EUR1m press in the process.
The film was made spontaneously without previous preparation so it needs to be seen as an amateur film (which it is)!
I live in a motorhome full time and travel around Europe in it. I spend most of my time in Poland, Germany and Italy. Vanlife is my life.
In my RUclips channel, I present reviews of recreational vehicles. Here you will find campervans and motorhomes from the cheapest camper vans to the most expensive luxury liners, from various companies including Hobby, Hymer, Carthago, Westfalia, Wingamm, La Strada, Frankia, Wavecamper, Maurer, Dreamer, Itineo, Rapido, Clever Vans, Pössl, Bürstner, Niesmann Bischoff, Action Mobil, Reisemobil Manufaktur, Robeta, Trigano, Challenger, EuraMobil, Karmann Mobil, Laika, Forster, Mobilvetta Design, Affinity, Globe Traveller, Benimar, Roller Team, Adria, Bocklet, Woelcke,Tourne, Megamobil, VW, Mercedes, CS, Renault, Ford, Fiat, Carado, Sunlight, Baileys, Chausson, Balcamp, Knaus, Weinsberg, Murvi, Bliss, Mitsubishi, Woelcke, Reisemobile Bürow, Holzmobil, Giotti Line, Florium, Fleurette, Ahorn, Westfalia, Space Camper, Orange Work, Concorde, Womondo, Protec, Auto Sleeper, Dethleffs, Ilusion, Gehocab and others.
I do this by regularly attending trade events such as CMT Stuttgart, Abenteuer und Allrad, Caravan Salon Dusseldorf, Warsaw Caravan and Camping Show and sometimes others.
I cover equipment, including 12v electrical equipment and talk a lot about lithium batteries.
I also show some of the places I have visited in Europe in my own motorhome, as well as the places you can stay at! I try to give as much coverage as I can to official campsites and free places which I use for overnighting. Therefore you can find here the aire or stellplatz that you are possibly looking for.

The heat exchanger is a particularly good idea for winter driving, clever. Underfloor heating even in the cab as well wow! Seperate circuits for power I would imagine results in a lot of plug sockets!!! Just need a lottery win....
The quality of European RV's is remarkable when compared to our American RV's. The pace of construction is determined by craftsmanship. Here in America it is predicated by volume. "Frantic" best describes U.S. RV construction. Thanks for the insight Alan
Thanks Allen we have recently taken delivery of Morelo Palace and it was great to see more of the build, looking forward to using her, Thanks again Steve and Sue
That is great Steve. I was really impressed by the build - particularly the press for the walls! All the best from Łódź, Poland!
One of your best I think Alan. Many thanks.
That was terrible...now I want one!!!!! Quality product
excellent video Alan. Morelo were very accommodating.. It was great to see this process. Plenty of good quality products and workmanship on show. The tour guide explained everything really well. superb
I think that they were far more accomading that I would have expected!
Agree with others that it is another great video, thanks Alan. I was so surprised to see so many Class As under construction. I thought that Class As would be very, very rare in Europe and the UK.
Downunda - Melbourne Australia
Nice video! Thanks!
Thanks for the factory tour. Great information about morelo.
A great video"What a well spoken and informative guy he is" "you aint bad either Alan" I can see why they cost so much" , HYMER -ADRIA next please""
Thanks Nick! I very much doubt either company would allow me to film. Here Andreas told me that it would be OK and that everyone else was behind anyway and that they would need two years to copy anything seen here!
Impressive
I am drooling. Thanks for the video.
love them all wish to own one some day in the u.s.a. thanks very much very excellent work.
Yes great video Alan Sir, i sure will have a Morelo in my wish list. If i was driving one of thier models, the smile on my face would be as wide as the grill. Super nice luxury. Best of luck on your channel love the videos.
What a fantastic Vid alan well done more please
Thanks John - that is really nice to read!
The best Video you have made . Nice Music .
Thank you!
lame
Thanks, this was a really interesting video! Well done! Would love more of this kind.
Thanks Mats! I thought that if I prepared it properly I could have done a better job but for something filmed off the cuff, it turned out quite well!
This is a very interesting video but it could have been so much more, if only you had a remote mic and a wide angle camera lens.
At popular request I bought a wide angle lens and it turned out to be a disaster. I hope you won't be complaining at the lack of stabilisation and film quality from the films that I made with my new Sony a6000! I will get a mic but as this was done off the cuff it would not have been used I suppose. A pity as it did turn out to be so much better than I had hoped!
Thanks for that really interesting documentary, keep up the good work.
Very interest... thank you !
Absolutely fascinating
IMPRESSIVE
Great Video! Thank you!
Heel interessant! We zijn overtuigd van de kwaliteit 👍😄
Dank U Ghislain!
I would like to see more Voids on the building of RVs in the EU.
Is the pay workers that build RVs in the EU receive about the same that other workers receive in the EU? When will have more Voids on work be done on your RV?
Unfortunately there will not be more videos from manufacturers as so far all have said that they don't want photographs inside the plant - which I understand. Workers pay is now probably higher than in other sectors because of the demand - the problem now is that there is a shortage of carpenters, electricians etc. in Europe. We have not done much on my van since the last video was posted as we have concentrated on the electrics but I will post some inside videos so you can see what it looks like now!
As Andreas said, they are delivered into New Zealand , I've seen 4 recently...
Great video as always Alan...
Thanks Mark. The hardest bit was getting rid of the background music in the factory!
Thank you for this content. If money were no object would you have the Morelo brand or Concorde, cheers
Hard choice Nick - perhaps it would be Morelo but there is nothing wrong with the Concorde!
@@VanlifewithAlan thanks for the reply it seems to me that the Morelo offers better value for money 👍
@@nicklovell7745 I don't think I would go that far Nick - it is more like Morelo seems more me!
I like the music at the beginning. What is it called?
This is called Pisco Sour - I use it a lot.
Cheers Alan great Vid 😀
Thanks Kieran - I had my doubts on this one, I thought I was trying to be too clever!
Die Deutschen sind die besten Reisemobilhersteller der Welt.
and now we can speak off the price ?
I love Empire
One of the best , shame it's Iveco
Clearly top quality workmanship and equipment , pity British mentality as to the most part been "make do and mend"also gross non reinvestment and always quick to blame the worker , just saying !
Well you cant do much better than that
i would rather have just the background noise over any music. Hopefully you consider not using that music anymore.
Have you ever heard of copyright? It includes background noise,
@@VanlifewithAlan well change the song then, that one was is gay af
Have you heard of a microphone that you clip on your shirt or tee shirt... then people can hear what you’re saying..... very much amateur.....please think about what you’re doing......
Great idea, send me one and I will use it.
@Mark - I think 'thank you' are the words you're looking for.
"One of the cars going to Norway,UK,etc." Typical salesman....say anything to sell an RV,Car,Home. So ,it's safe to say it will leak, rot, and wither away as any other RV manufacturer on any of the 7 Continents..........questionable R&D(fast manufacturing) to make as many possible.
