My first memories of Felony 11-79 was that i played it on the playstation 1 demo way back in the day, i liked it too from what i played of it. That is the only runabout game i have played to be honest. That Dreamcast case is looking very mint. Thank you for the video RPK
Cool collection of Runabout! Hilarious game series. I also have Runabout 2 for PlayStation. Which is your favorite Runabout game? My favorite is with no doubt Runabout 2, which also has the Toyota Corolla WRC as bonus car. 😁👍
Someone actually had a conversion with this guy Kan naito (he had something to do with runabout) they released mobile game in Japan I think which was called runabout convoy it was very different and someone asked him if it will be back one day and he said yes so hopefully we will see runabout again. good video!
Amazing collection and another great gaming video, mate! I remember playing Super Runabout for weeks when it came out, back in the days. Great times and I really miss these kind of fun racing games. I can't think of a modern equivalent, games like Forza Horizon are really tame in comparison.
I have great memories of repeatedly playing it on a Dreamcast demo disc that came with a magazine, I'm sure it was just the first misson. Then maybe a few weeks or months later my sister bought me the game for my birthday, and I stayed up until the early hours of the morning playing it while eating Malteasers and wearing a coat and scarf, as it was freezing cold and there was no radiator in my room.
@@RPKGameVids Holy smokes, dude! You're right! I also first got the demo disc from the official Dreamcast magazine. I think you could only race one yellow sports car in the demo, but I would race across the city for days and try to get the biggest jumps. I got the game months later when I bought it used and was amazed what kind of crazy cars were in it... ah, the nostalgia!
Today I looked for 'Runabout 2' Videos and I found out that in the japanese NTSC-J Version of 'Runabout 2' they had the original color scheme of the Toyota Corolla WRC included with the real-life Castrol 'red, white and green' color's of the rallye season 1998 and 1999. This version was originally released in 1999. The PAL version's of 'Runabout 2' were released in 2002-2004 in european countries. In these version's the Toyota Corolla WRC is only blue and white. A reason for this would most likey license issues and this would be to risky for the developers for a game like this. I always thought it was epic to have this car in this game, as it was one of my favorite rallye cars of all time. But to know the original color scheme was one time in this game is for me mind blowing. 😅😁👍 Here is a link of footage from 'Runabout 2' with the original Toyota Corolla WRC color scheme for anyone who is interested: ruclips.net/video/cED3QUyupL4/видео.html
Sometimes it kinda makes it feel hard to play the game, so I don't always have it on either. Weirdly it can damage kids eyesight if they're under a certain age.

My favourite is Super Runabout. And I'd say Crash City Mayhem is a very close 2nd.

I've looked into the game and I was quite surprised that there is a line of toys based on the game.
