  • On this episode of the baja saga we really get moving! with the engine and transaxle installed, we sort out the fuel system and all the other supporting systems for our engine. Nic modifies the axle shafts for the custom cv axles and buttons up our drivetrain by installing them. Then, we tackle every car enthusiast's worst nightmare: wiring.

    Hey, great video series. I have a Baja and and ej22 to go in it. Did you have to cut the bars on the rear bumper to clear the intake? Also, how is the rear mount radiator working out? Thanks.

      Yes bars had to get cut and rearranged and it works pretty good!

      @@TIRESIDE How is your car holding up by the way? I just finished my 97 ej22 swap on a 72 beetle a month ago. Slowly but surely weeding out the problems haha

      It’s good! Beat on it all summer long and now it needs some transaxle work, but that’s to be expected!

      Just the factory ecu and factory harness

    So you drill one on top , like in the video. And one on the bottom for the feed line ? Since im doing an ej22bug70 rn too, Thank You

      Yes the line on the bottom is the feed line, with a different fitting to increase the line size.
