lot of progress in just 3 episodes,no bullshit talk,no waste of time, straight into action! now THATS how you do a proper build series! congrats!
how did you change from 10v to 5v to the pin?.
Sounds pretty healthy. Glad you were so excited.
Do you have an instagram I can add you on? This episode specifically has all my anxieties about doing this exact same job haha
Hey, great video series. I have a Baja and and ej22 to go in it. Did you have to cut the bars on the rear bumper to clear the intake? Also, how is the rear mount radiator working out? Thanks.
Yes bars had to get cut and rearranged and it works pretty good!
what kind subaru engine is it? 2.0L?
EJ22
Is 400.00 a good price for a suby ej22 motor
If it’s in good shape, that doesn’t sound like a bad deal.
Yes how long ago was that ?
You can use 944/thing cv joints and stubs
Please do you do the Wiring for a fee.?
This is so sick, I am currently building a Baja that we are swapping an ej25 in, i would love to get more info on your build
I’m also currently building a 69 Beetle with the EJ25. I mainly just gotta get the wiring
Yo where is your video of the skid plate? I can’t find it
The skid plate is done at the end of the next video!
@@TIRESIDE awesome thank you man
@@TIRESIDE How is your car holding up by the way? I just finished my 97 ej22 swap on a 72 beetle a month ago. Slowly but surely weeding out the problems haha
It’s good! Beat on it all summer long and now it needs some transaxle work, but that’s to be expected!
sweet!
What ecu do you guys use
Just the factory ecu and factory harness
So you drill one on top , like in the video. And one on the bottom for the feed line ? Since im doing an ej22bug70 rn too, Thank You
Yes the line on the bottom is the feed line, with a different fitting to increase the line size.
@@TIRESIDE Thank You !!what is the list for the feeding , imma have to drill my tank also
I’m not sure I understand what you’re asking?
@@TIRESIDE my bad , i was just asking about the kind of fitting" that you use after you drill the tank
Npt to 5/16” barb fittings
How did you make that intake ?
I just cut apart the stock intake from the legacy
@@TIRESIDE what did you use for welding?
Are you using 5/16 or 3/8 line?
5/16
