    Have you published preprints before? Did you find it beneficial? Let's discuss them in the comments! You might also like this video: What you need to know about Open Access Journals: ruclips.net/video/HV9UBeS2qxs/видео.html

      Can we publish same article on 2 pre Prints?

      Thanks for the question! You should publish a preprint on only one preprint server.

      @@Vigyandarshan I suggest you withdraw all but one of the submissions before they are approved.

      @@ScientificWritingSchool actually I uploaded on vixra, research square and zenodo
      ..basically vixra doesn't provide DOI..maybe it's a e print..not pre print
      And zenodo is also a dataset not pre print but it's give a DOI
      Only research square is a complete preprint
      ..so what's in this case?
      And also tell me can we upload on 1 preprint and 1 e print like vixra which does not provide DOI

    They are as bad as journals now. Things are definitely not improving in science. I try hard but it's never easy. Without jurists we'd all be dead. Honestly they've been keeping us alive.

    Well, I don't have a lot of choice because we are a consulting firm and not part of a university system that can review the work before we submit it. So we need a review by specialists before submitting to a peer review journal. I think the system needs to be changed, it shouldn't be up to the peer review journals to decide if you can preprint. They want my paper?..... then they should compete for it.

      More and more journals will take papers that have ben released as preprints. The system doesn't like to change, but it is changing, gradually.

    For some case, preprint increase the plagiarism and some journal without verifying the work of the preprint and the submitted article, they reject.

    Thank you, that answered many if not all of my questions, after being declined by PRL for a submission and researching for info to learn more about the process i dont know why its not common knowledge to upload to a preprint server first before ever thinking of submitting for peer review. I especially like that i get to retain copyright ownership. What is the creative commons thing you mentioned?

    If any paper is rejected by the journal but allow us for priprints service what should we do In that case.

      You might want to get your work into a preprint to get feedback, but keep trying to get it published. See this video for what to do after a rejection: ruclips.net/video/3LFVKcD2FmA/видео.html

    After I publish into preprint, is it not effect to publish to journal or conference without changing anything?

    • @ScientificWritingSchool
      @ScientificWritingSchool  10 месяцев назад

      It depends on the preprint policy of that journal or conference. Many journals will consider publishing articles that have appeared as preprints, but some will not.

    • @ParDiss-e4i
      @ParDiss-e4i 9 месяцев назад

      That would depend on the journal.
