@@sliccnicc3those teams were good, but I would say the talent potential doesn’t come close to this team. To put it in perspective, the only player from those teams to even go in the top 10 of the wnba draft was Aaliyah Edward’s who went 6th. Meanwhile Paige Azzi and Sarah were all #1 recruits in their class and have showcased #1 draft pick potential
That weekend was a tournament atmosphere in Los Angeles as the Gamecocks and Trojans lost to lesser rank team at the time. Which prove on any given day things can go unexpected, and it will as the season continue.
They’re definitely going to be just fine and be a big threat in the tournament. I think it’s just that the last two years they looked largely unbeatable, dominating all other top competition, whereas this year they don’t and it seems like anyone could take it
TRUTH @anthonytaylor7928, you can add PB to that list of "freeze ups" as well. Poor Sarah, she picked the wrong college. She was exposed against Ole Miss. The media always pushes PB and AF up our a**'s since day one. On top of that, UConn has yet to play a top 10 opponent. How can they be at #2 is a complete mystery to me. Geno scheduled most non-conference games against teams they beat last year. I don't see Texas, NC State, or UCLA on their schedule. He knows their butts will get kicked (again).
@ ND got beat by TCU and an unranked team Utah, SC doesnt have Boston or Kardoso, LSU has a weak schedule. So again who has a better big 3? Their names plz
Azzi came in and took over against Ole Miss. Her staying healthy and looking to score can be all the difference for this Uconn team.
Almost want to just put them in bubble wrap and fast forward to March so we finally get a full strength UConn back in the tournament 🤣
Huskies looking legit as always
Here's hoping they all stay healthy into March!
Amen
If the 3 season long injury nightmare is finally over, look out because this is the most talented Uconn team since the Stewie days.
I’ma have to say Paige freshman and sophomore year UCONN was more talented but this team second to that

This is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST trio in America!!!!!!!
South Carolina is gonna be just fine, getting a loss out of the way early in the season isn't a bad thing

@@Cocogirl44 Definitely seems wide open this year
Give El Alfy one more month to acclimate to U.S. college WBB.
Biggest, stickiest hands in basketball. If El Alfy was playing 35 minutes nightly she'd get 20 rebounds a game.
Solid looking squad
Good job Tyler
Not worried about South carolina, defend, and adjusting to not having cardosa will work itself out
They're too savvy and well coached to let 1 loss derail them
Close but the threesome of Hidalgo, Citron and Miles from Notre Dame best in class.
I'm glad you're just stating your opinion cause I don't know what in world you're talking about
A pissed off Gamecocks squad is a terrifying thought
Almost as terrifying as a nearly healthy Uconn for the first time in 3 seasons. Guess we'll see on Feb 16th.
Geno keeps playing Paige on average, over 30 minutes. Just wait...
Aw stop UConn does not have the best big three especially azzi she will freeze up against top competition like always

So what team does?
@@darriusrobinson8370 MULTIPLE teams, TCU, South Carolina, Texas, Duke, LSU, Notre Dame, shall I go on?

Azzi literally JUST came in and saved Uconn against a ranked team 😂 you sound foolish.
