C'est toujours un plaisir de venir se rincer l'oeil par ici !! 🤩 Sorry for the French expression (untranslatable), but I meant something along the line of "ogling lovely sexy things", lol. These ukes are pure delight indeed ! I have an Oha concert, and the earthiness is incredible. The more mahogany sound is probably due to this. I put black nylon on it, which enhances the organic feeling, but the projection is maybe the weak point. I also have a Kani pineapple (the P-1, though) that I fit with Fremont Black Line high-g baritone for tenor. It is absolute velvet ! 😍 But there again, the projection is a bit on the low side, despite fluorocarbon. So I'd say that if you like super sensual, sweet, mellow and soft round sound, Kanile'a is great. For more brightness, punch and projection, I'd go for a Ko'aloha (or a Rebel). Just my experience so far. Thanks for making our eyes sparkle and to delight our ears, Alex !
Aloha 'Ohana! Mahalo for such an aweomse video! We are so thankful that you are happy with our new models. The Pineapple armrest is actually Ebony. We do all armrests and bevels in a wood, never plastic. :)
Hi Alex. I just loved the pineapple uke! What a beauty and a tenor, too instead of those piddly soprano models. All I need now is the money to buy one; it will take me about six months to save it up and then I will have one, Beauty!!! Jay
There’s a great video on Hawaii Music supply Vlog that does that. Unfortunately Phil sanded off his finger tips installing a pickup just before filming so he played like a wuss!!! 😂
I would Love some Bindings an a Little Bit more bling, but Thats just me. Thanks for the Video, greetings from Germany! The pineapple looks Really Badass in my opinion
On the second one you say “what you love about that slotted headstock is that your hand doesn’t get obstructed by the headstock”......question, wtf?? Does your hand normally get obstructed by headstocks? Do lesser headstocks you’ve encountered come to life and reach over onto the fretboard and perhaps using a hammer, whack your poor fingers?
We LOVE you Mr. Alex! You are like our Paul McCartney!
🤷🏻♂️I try

Sorry, will see if I can edit that.

Well done guys, thought second uke was the best although the pineapple is a beautiful instrument, 👍
I wish that durning sound test on the ukuleles that the player would dig in and hit some chord progressions at full on hard core stumming !

The Pineapple Uke is amazing!
Seems you'd want mahogany soundboard koa back and sides
I want that pineapple so bad, I can taste pineapple when I think about it!
I miss your condiment T shirt
The Deluxe and Pineapple tenor both sounded like an electric guitar, beyond typical ukulele . I’d prefer a Martin . But it looks really beautiful.
Delicious pineapple ukulele.
I love my granny, but she’s yours for that pineapple!
We would need to see some photos to assess condition but generally we do accept family in part exchange.
Photos pending as soon as exhumation has been approved by appropriate authorities.
That got dark.

I will take the pineapple please.

If your headstock doesn't come to life and wreak havoc from time to time then frankly you're not playing the uke right...
Almost 5 minutes into the video before we hear it...
Totally worth the wait though...
