Pick up a vintage owl cookie jar at a yard sale for $3.00 and sold it on Nextdoor for $75.00 cash. Thank you Margret! Excellent content. Blessings, K.T.
Really enjoying this important topic. Have been reselling for about 6 months on the typical multiple platforms, primarily jewelry. I would love to hear you speak on the topic of best practices on the various platforms for responding (or not) to “interested buyers”, “likes”; when to delist and re-list; when or if to offer free shipping or discount shipping. I very much trust in your experience!
Yes, the kitschy mushroom stuff and pixies, knee huggers and not, have been selling well for a few years now. I have sold Trifari really well for 10 years. It is always a great seller. Nice video! 😊
I have always loved your channel, you totally inspire me 😊. I especially love these types of videos because we can all learn from them! Glad to see you smiling agin 🌹
Great informative video!!! I actually have many of the the Sears Merry Mushroom canisters, cups & S & P on my kitchen countertop!! I purched them piece by piece about 10yrs ago because I thought they were so adorable. I don't have room for all of them so I have more packe away. Guess I have good taste LOL
Love these kind of videos !! I love jewelry but it's hard to know what something is worth if it's not signed . I may have sold some costume jewelry for $1 that may be worth a lot more. So I'm trying to learn as I go . Thanks Margaret !!
Google Lens is super great for identifying unknown pieces. It doesn't always work, but between Google Lens and eBay Lens, I typically can figure it out! I hope that helps!!!
Hello, I am a new reseller, and I just found out about your channel. I have some family jewelry that is marked Trifari, but I have not wanted to sell that. But Trifari, pronounced with the short i, has been collectible for quite a long time, and I would consider it a specialty market. It appeals to me because I like the items and the design variety quite a bit. But I would be hesitant to pay more than $10 for a piece because the variety and production rate of all these items is pretty widely known and collectors, really know what they’re looking for, in order to maximize profits, you really have to know your stuff with this brand. There are books you can buy about this.
Shipping big hollow items has always been a problem for me. The amount of shipping cost and the potential for breakage puts cannister sets out of my scope. The thing is with checking sold listings is not knowing how long the seller's had to sit on their items before they sold. The cost of shipping will be going up soon, I'm staying with smalls.
That's interesting. I work for a lighting company and we ship delicate things all the time. Very little breaks😮 I'm looking into shipping goods from Ireland to USA. Americans buyers seem to be interested in things that don't really sell here that well. Too old fashioned in Ireland but trendy in USA. Weird right lol
Wrap breakable items in pool noodles. They can be cut in half or rounds. I use them after wrapping in bubble wrap. I use rounds in between plates. I also split and slip them on mug/tea cup handles. Tape em up and you're good to go. 😊
@nancycrane7584 Wrap the item very well in bubble wrap. You can cut the noodle down the center and it is much more pliable. Secure the noodle with packing tape. It does not have to cover the whole item it just has to keep it off the bottom, top, and sides of the box. Experiment with it. Been a life saver for me.
Hellllo Gorgeous! Your videos are ALWAYS packed with great info!!! I learn a lot every time I watch and I tell everyone to come check you out! TFS. Hugs- Rebecca 💙😘💙
Update from your last video - day after I watched I found a Revere Ware pan with lid for $4. I haven’t researched sold comps yet but for the price I’m not concerned about losing money 😂

@desertfairychickres4021 pool noodles aren't that wide. How would you mail a thinner glass canister. Some,of those mushroom ones are pretty fragile
