Hi Airsoft-Ed! :D Yeah, I think it was about 200 feet, 220 max. Also, if you meant to say "couldn't hear the gun" then turn your speakers up, and you can hear him shooting on semi, it's very quiet though! I /woould/ make a vid on how to fit the UGL but we recently sold it! The L129 is pretty basic on the inside. The receiver and gearbox are from an A&K one. The gearbox and motor are stock except for an M130 spring, a shimming/regrease job. I've outlined the other bits in the description.
I'm in the middle of uploading a full L85 run down, externals and internals in two parts. Once the L129 is up to proper DMR spec I'll aim to do a similar thing with that, it's only shooting at about 300fps at the moment, the L85 can outshoot it easily.
I highly doubt that target practice thing was that much more than 200 feet. Unless he was firing on full auto? I could hear the gun. I'd be interested to see a video on how to mount the UGL to the ICS though, I might try with mine, I'm guessing it can't be lined up perfect, hence the sniper tape? What's been done with the L129 on the inside, and what's the base gun? I've got an A&K one, but I'm still saving to sort the insides of it out. Cheers. Nice video btw.
Ah, sweet. 220 feet at 330fps is insanely impressive though, have there been any upgrades added to the L85? My best in game shot is about 235 feet at around 350fps, I'd say my max effective range was about 60m. I've got one hell of a lot instore for the L129 though, thinking of fitting a Polar Star fusion engine into it, or at the best least £300 of upgrades on the gearbox alone. Cheers for the sub btw, I'll add you to my sub list too.
Someone please tell me what scope or scopes they're using so I can get them or it because a hybrid like that would be fantastic...even better if I also found out how they made the red dot sight and the scope zero in or you know, line up with the shots they were making.
Can you message me with the base gun and everything you have on this please? So far I have the L85A2, M249 Para and all i need to do now is build myself an L129A1, but i cant seem to find out how the hell i make one and what parts i need to get! :(
Yeah, I agree with you there. I have an asymmetrical spring. The spring guide and bearings on it seemed smooth to me (the spring guide is metal and seems to be of decent quality). The spring makes a rather annoying "twang" sound which I managed to dull down with a lot of grease, but that only lasted for a little while and it's back now. It also sounds bad due to the low power LiPo in this vid, it sounds better with an 11.1v. Not sure how else I can make it better.
No dont put to much grease, or the piston guides will be colapses and you will lost inercy in your system. Chek my mechanical MK23CUSTOM. a lot of work in all the parts that are incontact. polish all rails and piston guides. facebook.com/Mk23Custom?fref=ts check his works
Thanks for the sub. I have a video that shows that particular shooting test a bit more thoroughly, I think the clip used here was 200 feet. 235 is extremely impressive though, I noticed your L85 was accurate from your vids. Oooh nice, I'd love a Polarstar engine but I just can't justify the price at the moment! Keep me posted on the progress of your 129, I'd really like to see a review of it sometime :)
You can wear just ballistic glasses if you like. However, if you're a rental or are under 18, I think a mask is mandatory (don't quote me on that though)
If you are renting, they will give you a facemask unless you bring your own ballistic glasses or other form of face protection. If you want to be sure, post a question on their Facebook page.

It's a Nikko Stirling Mountmaster scope with a Docter red dot reflex sight on the top.

I am very interested to wear the man on the left got his airsoft L123 from, anyone know a website?
He got it from the ZeroIn forum. Unfortunately don't know of any retailers that sell it now.
@@PSPmaster321 Thank you very much for the information very much appreciated. :)
Thanks man! It's custom made. Specs are in the description.
Is there any way that u could give me ALL the specs on this gun. Ive been looking to build a DMR for awhile, but just dont know what to do. Help?
I highly doubt that target practice thing was that much more than 200 feet.

Nice video btw.
Unfortunately I was using a low power battery in this vid so the trigger response sucked balls. I use 11.1v LiPo's now.
Please can you list where you got your parts from to build this or link me if you have already done so. Many thanks

This is Absolute Airsofts Reading site...as per the title.
The real L129s are very nice to use!
Would you ever sell this weapon system
Someone please tell me what scope or scopes they're using so I can get them or it because a hybrid like that would be fantastic...even better if I also found out how they made the red dot sight and the scope zero in or you know, line up with the shots they were making.
Such a great tech you have
Is this reading delta force. Looks exactly the same
Can we have an exact parts list? I might like to make one for myself.
Dude how did you get the l129a1? its such a rifle and nice video btw love it :D
Aren’t dmrs spose to only have one bb In the air at once ?
That varies site to site
Tactical Scout nice rif though I’m looking at mocking one up out of a .308
@@Kartaholic cheers mate. What .308 you gonna use?
Can you message me with the base gun and everything you have on this please? So far I have the L85A2, M249 Para and all i need to do now is build myself an L129A1, but i cant seem to find out how the hell i make one and what parts i need to get! :(
Thanks bro! But what do you mean by tech?
sorry to ask but can i ask which a&k receiver are u using
what a sight?
where did you get you l129
I dont like how your spring sounds... Bearings in piston and spring guide recomended. And a asymetrical spring

Those guys at 6:50 was acting like zombies)). Seriously, why they didn't react on shooting?
What ur local field
on that site do you need to wear a full solid mask or can you wear like, googles then a silk or mesh mask over?
You can wear just ballistic glasses if you like. However, if you're a rental or are under 18, I think a mask is mandatory (don't quote me on that though)
thanks man
Cuz I'm going soon there I would just like to know what your allowed and what not because on there site, they don't have much info
If you are renting, they will give you a facemask unless you bring your own ballistic glasses or other form of face protection.
If you want to be sure, post a question on their Facebook page.
Did you see anyone with a sniper?
2:07
One last questions, what's the fps on the reading site? and how long are the matches at the site?
AEG: 350fps
DMR locked to semi-auto: 425fps
Sniper rifle: 500fps
The matches can last between 10 minutes to about 45 minutes, I'd say.
Is an aeg allowed to be on 380 fps only on semi not full auto?
+Ayesha Meer yes
such a nice weapon
It is yeah.
Yeah that's me dude! Nice channel you got there
Ah, you're Slava! I'm Airsoft-Ed from Zero In :P I thought it might be you.
If I was to pay you would you build me one
what gun were u using
Ben Boxall Maybe look at the title L129A1 DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle)
What gun was it?
Or build one for me
