Great vid. Well done everyone. I am a south coast body surfer and have generally only ever bodysurfed at Mooloolaba or Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast. I really liked the inclusion on the still photography and great to see female competitors and all ages getting involved 👏👏👏👏👏👏
@@motovlogsindonesia The hats allow judges on the beach to differentiate the different competitors. Having said that, a lot of 79'ers wear them each morning so everyone can see them - they look like a big bag of jelly beans coming at you when they swim out in the mornings!
I'm definitely doing body surfing vids when I'm in hawaii. I've been body surfing sense I was about 2 or 3. The first time I was tall enough to go in a wave pool. Haven used a hand board yet though. Tallest wave I've surfed was 10 feet.
This probably is they way humans been surfing since the first time one went in the ocean. I even did it as little kid with 1foot waves at the shore. It almost comes naturally if like the water:) great stuff!

I was body surfing in Puerto Escondito, fell off the top of
a big Wave, smashed my face into the sand almost broke my neck!
