Weird thing is, the "Hover Hand" blew up 6 years ago because of the many random pictures of men hovering their hands over a female. It became popularly associated with "shy men" or "unexperienced men" or "intimidated men". Girls used to make fun about it on Tumblr and Twitter. But ever since Keanu Reeves has done it, it's "respectful"" and "gentlemanlike" and "this is how you engage with woman". Amazing the change of tune depending on who is doing it.
Yep. Same thing happens with the term creep. You can be labled a creep by just looking at a woman IF you happen to be unattractive. If you are handsome however it's fine.
the same thing with bringing his mom to the awards. Anybody else not famous would be called a moma's boy and laughed at but when keanu does it. It's just the sweetest thing. That is just how life is. Status and appearance separate greatly how someone is treated or perceived compared to others not fitting the same criteria despite the actions being the exact same. Or how if you are not famous being the quiter humble guy in the room will make you the anti social creep that nobody wants to acknowledge but Keanu is quiet and humble and is very noticeably shy and reserved when not specifically acting and everybody oggles over it.
