Thanks for your review Peter. It was excellent! I saw Kristin's recent video and she seems to really enjoy this house. I am curious to hear more about what she has to say about them. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, especially as your experience with the raw materials allows for superior detection and consideration of how they are used in the fragrances. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the other two fragrances. - Jenn
Paella is so good. I should attempt to make it myself. I've only ever had it in Spain. A dish I make with saffron is risotto. I bet you'd enjoy that, Peter.
Great video. I just picked this one up recently. I sampled it a year ago or when it came out and loved it. I thought it was an excellent blending job too though do get a lot of fermented Indian oud that's been tamed by the ambery resins. I don't get too much of the fruity Thai oud. I also got a hint of Ethyl Maltol in the deep dry down with the patchouli. I could be wrong (might be the vanilla), but if it is, it works really well.
@@FragranceView You're probably right. I trust your nose more than mine! Thanks again for the video and the other perfume making vids. I really appreciated them. They really helped me step up my game (still an extreme amateur).
pai•eh•uh Shelf is looking fuller. Their sandalwood fragrance had some hype for a time, I hope you can experience that or any future iterations of that one. Thanks for the thorough review!!
Well oud have thought it..sorry if used that before.🤷♀️😄 Sounds lovely and so does the paella.🥘 Haven't made our veggie version in years😍 Thanks Peter! 🤗X🌠❤❤
Peter! I'm completely gutted at this point in time, there's literally nobody anymore that even distantly relates to the most fantastic, innovative, touch your soul , guitarist than jeff. Rip Jeff beck, sorely missed.xx.
Emperors Court sounds beautiful. Actually I think you listed most of the adjectives I am drawn to in fragrance! Soft, modest, mellow , sparkling ,ethereal and effervescent! Wth? Seriously! I definitely don't want my scent to enter the room before I do. Lol Really descriptive review. I've heard of Dixit &Zak but haven't tryed anything. Luckysent maybe We have NOTHING in Edmonton. Seriously sad. It's online for everything 🤯🥺😢 (Well there's a big department store that sells channel and Dior Only designer fragrance and nothing new and they rarely samples. Even new bottles ,you have to buy them because they don't have a tester bottle to spay at the counter. Then he said if you don't like the perfume you can return it. SERIOUSLY.??? so depressing
Sounds interesting, worth sniffing I think. I don't personally have any issues with deer musk if it's obtained in a sustainable way, if there are enough animals to maintain a healthy population. And what is also very important is that animal must not have been killed for the musk itself, it has to be a bi-product of meet consumption, then it's no different to me from taking other animals lives for sustaining the life in my own body. Life feeds on life, one day some form of life will feed on me :(
From my understanding, it's only done in Russia, they allow a certain % of the population to be hunted once a year to lower the numbers. They eat the meat and sell the musk. Personally because I am vegetarian now, feel a little funny about owning it, I might pass this on later to someone else as a gift, maybe another reviewer
The three you have aren’t the best representation of there work. Particularly their early work which is far better and more punchy and deep, the recent releases are far less concentrated imo. If you can find rising mysore or emperor hind then you will see what they are capable of 🙏🏽
If you're in the UK, and you'd like to win a sample - leave a comment bellow, and I'll pick a few people to send samples to
Can I have a sample if any of them are without civet or musk and ones I can't do 🤞😄🎁💌
Please...where are my manners 😳
Sure you can
I'd like a sample

I didn't get ethyl maltol on my skin, more vanilla / resin / ambergris

They do make it a little difficult don't they!

@@FragranceView Yep, I know the story about dear Russia. Indeed, being a vegetarian makes things more complicated.
