- It's a merge of some recordings I did for tests. Recordings are from few different days and different hours. Video is not edited. I just merged recordings using LoselessCut. Recorded in default camera App with following settings: 4K, 30FPS, HDR disabled, H.264 encoder. There is no more settings for video mode to be honest.
I had dillema between Nothing Phone 2a and Xiaomi Note 13 Pro Plus 5g. I decided to buy Nothing because of it's 50MP Wide Angle camera, while Xiaomi has 8MP. Also Xiaomi has rounded edges that I don't like. So, I think that was a good decision. For this price it's a good phone with nice wide angle camera.
The only issue is color/brightness in some specific situations. You can clearly see it in recordings from Park. Trees are the biggest enemy for this phone. I don't know if that's lens issue or camera App issue. I already sended feedback to Nothing.

In first week of October I will try to make more recordings with low light.
The camera is struggling in maintaining the highlights.
Ye, the question is if that's software or hardware issue.
@@DeffQI think it's hardware issue, they should've given Sony sensors...then it would be damn good though...
Idk why but my ultra wide angle camera is not giving this kind of output😭
I had ordered it just 2 days ago but the ultra wide angle camera is not giving such quality its central part gets little out of focus and and video quality in 4k also not kind of good idk why but what should i do wait for the nothing os 4.0 update or what plzzz reply!!
Did you try to record in good environment (bright place) and leave the focus to work on itself (without tapping on screen)? Also check if your lens is not dirty.
@@DeffQ I had tried bruh but the 50mp camera is not performing as expected even I tried to capture good photos though the ultra Wide angle camera's picture get soft and oversharpen looks like a low quality image and I also compared with my other lower range device that is capturing more better image in ultra wide lens than the nothing phone 2a ultra wide camera.

@@sakshamhande1625 Maybe you changed to h.265 codec? I'm not sure how big impact it can have on quality.
How was the camera performance?
Shall I buy it for 200$?
@@sathyanarayanan5207 Using phone for about month already and everything is fine. Except things mentioned in video description. If you have possibility to buy a new one for 200 bucks - go for it 👍

you can decrease the exposure right? So that the output wil be good...

@@sathyanarayanan5207 yes, you can lower exposure by locking it. There is no manual mode for video recording. I'm not sure if locking camera will fix that issue related to trees. But I will try next time. Thanks for idea 🙂
