I'm so upset at French Hunter- he has so much potential, like the voice itself is great but the voice acting is not. His intonations are off, he pauses at the wrong moments and it overall doesn't feel natural, except for moments like "C'est la vie, voilà". I still have hopes for Hollow Mind, because he was far worse in Separate Tides (like, legit painful to watch) and far better in Any Sport in a Storm, so he might just be trying to learn and adapt. Anyway, he really does bring the "closeted teen who has no idea how to interact with others" to the table, so that's great. I think.
@@Couloeuvre Moi non plus, sa voix le vieillit en français et je trouve que l'intonation est pas ouf comparé à l'anglais. Me neither, he sounds old in French and his tone is not as good as in English.
I wouldn't say old, but yeah definitely older. I guess this is just my personal preference then, and that's okay, but I like that the French dub tries to get various kind of voices : Amity's is raspier, Hunter's is deeper. It certainly doesn't mean that the original has "voices that all sound the same or whatever", especially since some aspects of it are specific to English only (I'm thinking about Belo's British accent which must have been a pain for many dubs lol), but I do enjoy that attempt on France's part. Although as I said, it doesn't change anything to the (often) poor execution of this idea. If the French voice acting was nearly as phenomenal as the English one (Zeno Robinson is simply a gem), then this whole dub would be so much more enjoyable. Instead the few extracts I found are not even cringy or laughable, it is merely frustrating.
What I'm the mist upset about is how it completely ditches the whole mental breakdown effect when it's litteraly what's building up and already showing
Cool thing i noticed is that in the Japanese dub, Hunter doesn't mention Belos by his name, meanwhile in every other language he did, because it's rude to address a ruler/emperor by their first name in Japan.

I think.
The French voice isn’t good at this moment, but in other he can be ok but really I don’t like his voice at all in French (wich is my first language)
Pff , for me it's the perfect voice for Hunter , i love it
What I'm the mist upset about is how it completely ditches the whole mental breakdown effect when it's litteraly what's building up and already showing
The echo in Mandarin is kind of neat!
it gets old though, my dad listens to mandarin audio books and every celestial heavenly spiritual character has that airy echo.
8:12 9:39 amity's voice is so cute in japanese and chinese dub-
Hunter sounds really unhinged in Dutch
the Dutch one captures the mental breakdown even better than the English. Same with Latin American Spanish. The nervous laugh is so good.
No. The og captures it nice too
It’s really interesting to see most countries portray Amity’s voice more as a young adult than a teenager, I love it XD
One good thing about Disney+ is that you can find literally EVERY dub in 1 minute
WHY WAS KOREAN SO EMOTİONAL OMG
Cool thing i noticed is that in the Japanese dub, Hunter doesn't mention Belos by his name, meanwhile in every other language he did, because it's rude to address a ruler/emperor by their first name in Japan.
damn, brazil's and china's voice actors did a very good job
I didn't know how much I needed to hear Hunter say "ce la vie" before
Japanese Hunter when he said bye bye ajsksjsj
Europe and Latin Spanish have whole different feels to them. It’s crazy 😯 I personally prefer Latin since Hunter sounds more his age but they’re both great ✨
Its crazy how different the french one is compared to the rest, Hunter has such a deep voice compared.
i love how french say the iconic byeeeeeeeeeee and make it sound like bye bye
Polish Amity sounds SO GOOD
ALL LANGUAGES NAILED IT NGL
side note, WHY is King sooooo rude in the swedish dub.
dude realy said "this is so iratating" like what?
He said the same in Polish :(
The mental breakdown was so bad that he even see the same scene in many languages
I'll rate it😄😄😄
00:00 English 10/10 obviously
0:50 French 3,5/10 it doesn't really fit
01:33 German 9,5/10 WHAT THE HECK IT'S SO GOOD IT FITS SO WELL (king's voice not tho)
02:16 Dutch 9,5/10 AHH I LOVE IT
03:00 Polish 6/10 it's my nationality actually :D i like it but it kinda unfits
03:44 Swedish 5,5/10 not much to say it's just neutral
04:27 Romanian 8/10 i love itt
05:11 Spanish (Europe) 1/10 oh hell nah that does not fit at all
05:55 Spanish (Latin America) 8,5/10 i really like it! it fits perfectly
06:38 Portugese (Europe) 6/10 it kinda fits when it comes to Hunter but Amity's voice is terrible
07:21 Portugese (Brazil) 7/10 yeah it's arlight but sounds to old for Hunter
08:05 Japanese 8/10 ooooohh i like it
08:48 Korean 4/10 nah i don't like it
09:32 Mandarin (China) 3,5/10 mm no
🇵🇱 :D
Fr, French sucks 💀
A więc to zdrada! Ta zniewaga krwi wymaga! ;)
A tak na poważnie, mnie "nasze" głosy na prawdę bardzo się podobają. ;)
Nah his Brazilian voice sounds pretty accurate with his age for me, but maybe I'm biased since I'm Brazilian
You have to respect Swedish guy putting his whole heart into that crazy broken vibe tho lol
His voice in french sound like he's in my school
Dutch one fits so well, favourite one after English, German and Swedish are pretty cool too
0:02 luz drawings are just👍
Spreading the Swedish hunter love here. Oh my god he sounds unhinged. Off the shits. Poor lad.
I was not expecting that emotion
He heard Hunter was traumatised and at a breaking point and went “yep, i got this”
The Romanian dub got King’s voice pretty spot on-
the dutch dub of hunter has just that little flair that none of the other ones do
The German Hunter really did a good job, but the German king traumatized me ngl
PLEASE TELL ME I WASNT THE ONLY ONE WHO HEARD SWEDISH KING TELL HUNTER “THATS SO IRATE HUNTER”
I'm in love with the japanese version
The Portuguese voice actor is Henrique Gomes (I saw that his name was missing in the description).
I watch in English but the German one was freaky. I love hunter in English and his nervous laugh, but seriously, it sounds great in German!
I've gotten so used to the english one that I nearly choked when I heard French Hunter
1. Love watching my son have a nervous breakdown in different languages
2. Amity always either sounds spot on or like a google translate robot, there is no in between
3. Most of the hunters are pretty close which is fun
4. I like the laugh especially hearing the crazy laugh is nice
5. King catches me off guard every time like in english he’s ✨💕chaos baby💕✨ and then all the other languages he’s like 💁🏼♂️🤪M Å Ñ🤪💁🏼♂️
A voz do Hunter no Brasil ❤️❤️❤️❤️💞💞💞💞
Mano os gringo comentaram que a voz tá muito velha pra ele, Q ??????
I love the voice of hunter in dutch!❤
Ok but Hunter sounds the most unhinged in the Dutch one like...damn!
It's interesting that in the Brazilian dub, Hunter's voice is the same as a character from Detroit Become Human (a game)
7:21
(in the Brazil version )
I did not expect the korean version to be as good as it is
I love how Kings voice sounds more and more like a gremlin throughout the languages
In Japanese, Hunter says "Want me to make [graves] for you [guys]?" even though i'm pretty sure he was talking to Amity on that line, since he knew she would also be going back to Luz empty-handed (also, in English he says "want me to make you ONE too").
The Swedish is definitely my favorite (other than English, as that will always be my favorite) but the Dutch is also extremely good! I can barely decide lol
Swedish one is the only one I almost understand fully since I’m also from Scandinavia…I wish they included the Danish one since I know it exists, Norwegian probably does too…
King's voice is the funniest part of all them
SPANISH (LATIN AMERICAN) SOUNDS SO GOOD 💀😭..... I LOVE HIM
his voice is just so: 😩
Love the energy in the Swedish one honestly underapprecieted
Nunca tinha visto essa cena em português, tô rindo muito kkkkk
Thanks for adding romanian my language dude! Btw I think french sounds "FaNcY" on him, and Japanesse and Chinesse are fire bro
I LOVE KINGS DUTCH VOICE 💀💀💀💀💀
French Hunter is probably my favorite, probably since I know what he is saying, the panic and desperation in his voice is done very well, so is the translation.
But seriously, what has my life become that I'm watching a 16 year old having a breakdown in like 10 different languages-
For Hunter's French voice, It's now revealed as Mathieu Meunier
5:44 ✨me estás poniendo super depre✨
Me partí de risa con eso XD. En España siempre les gusta poner modismos y modernismos.
All of the laughs are so unhinged, I love it so much
