@@foolslayer9416 We'd like to think that but I've seen another response from a relative and she was no less human. A mix of dread and panic resulting in an inability to move forward. My cousin was fine but as a kid, I watched my aunt meltdown. She hadn't done anything wrong and another adult was there luckily. But I'd hate for people to believe that all people respond to that situation in the exact same way and someone completely innocent reviled for having just as human of a response that is different.

No, it does not make you a bad person. House was responding to a threat against a small infant and it was inspiring to see because it shows he is human and does care.

My wife going through postpartum depression and anxiety I was worried about this because the first time I came home from work she would just give me the baby and start shaking. She would have what’s called intrusive thoughts that were some of the worst things you can think of. We got her to therapy and meds she is much better now but it was the scariest time being a new dad and new husband not knowing what to do to help.

Postpartum depression is such a terrible disorder my mom actually had it at one point. But managed to get past it and I hope to God my little sister and I will not have to suffer through that.

Andrea Yates is a prime example of postpartum depression. That lady was unbalanced chemically and was seeking help but wasn't given it properly.
