    This is what I've been waiting for. Fan noise on a production unit. I will be watching what you learn.

      After playing with the Mini for a week and keeping win controls fan curve on always. The fan usually is at 40% which is very quiet, almost not gonna hear it unless in a silent room with no sound on, and when gaming at 20w, it's usually at 60% fan speed which is not bad; It's been very usable for me. 80% fan noise is when it starts to get noticeable but would maybe bother someone next to you more than yourself actually playing on it

    You have to leave the motion assistant active. The moment you close that program, the fan will kick in

    bro really was surprised by the loud fan at 30w tdp 😭

    With the fan curve set and the TDP reasonably low, can you browse the web and watch youtube videos and stuff without the fan kicking on?

    Max tdp is 28 watt, if u have newest bios. U can put it at 30 or whatever but package power won’t go past 20. I’ve noticed time spy relatively the same between 20 and 28

    yeah i bet you need to keep motion asisatnt open for it to take effect, with it off it just does whatever automatically and with it on is how you have custom settings i imagine? cause haivng to go back in every time you want diff tdp for a diff game does sound annoying idk

    any plans on doing the cooling mod/second fan mod?

    • @creaturecore13
      @creaturecore13 Год назад +1

      second fan mod doesnt exist anymore, the designer replaced it with a better more efficient larger single fan with a very large heat sink

    i cant lie why does anyone care about fan noise? lmao

      I guess it depends on what you’re used to. I have a water cooled pc which is quiet specifically cos of noise, and a MacBook Air which is completely silent. So to me this is slightly disappointing

    What do you expect, fans make noise. Its normal lol. "Blowin like that." Laptops make the same sound under heavy load

    • @DulioCat
      @DulioCat 10 месяцев назад

      It wasn’t under heavy load lol he just opened the browser and the fan started flying
