News reporters should speak with the local accent.
I never thought I had a Boston accent until I joined the USAF, I was ragged on and laughed at constantly for years. I was forever asked to say "pahk the cah at Hahvahd yahd"
Same thing here..joined the Navy and all over! My family's wicked thick is as soon as I am the phone..it's back!!!❤
Back when I was a kid, my Dad worked with a lady who was a WAC back in WWII who told a great story about being in the canteen, and yelling over to her table of colleagues "Anybody wanna fahk?" and half the room going silent.

I just don't understood the big deal. 😆 Hes from NH. I say New Hampsha also and I was born in Raised in NH. Lived in Mass for a decade...how is he not used to this? The only time I ever hear anyone say anything about my accent is when I go out of New England or talk to someone not from here and then people say it Instantly.... mine comes out more when I get drinking or fired up.. 🤷🏽♀️

The Boston accent is a watered down Great Britain accent. Listen to someone from over there say New Hampshire, and you’ll understand.
