Noongah people are just one tribe of many before colonization there were more than 500 tribes with different customs and Lores now those numbers are much less due to colonization and the attempts to wipe out my people...as an Indigenous person I fully understand the plight of the Israelites since I've done alot of research on ur peoples problems since the days of Moses... then the many invasions from the Ottoman Empire to the Roman Empire this is why I completely stand with the Israeli people as I couldn't comprehend being taken from my homeland over and over again...as Aboriginal people we have a connection to our Country that is hard for most white Australians to understand... Noongah people are just one tribe and our country or tribal lands are the South West region of Western Australia and Nova Peris her country or tribal lands would be in the Northern Territory but I've said this to someone else even though we're of different tribes we are one people and the one thing I don't like about the Pro Palestinian protesters is the simple fact that they use our Aboriginal flag alongside theirs when most of my people stand with Israel and those Aboriginal people that may have disputes then those are the ones that aren't aware of the history of the Jewish people and Israel...I hope this changes so that all of my people all across Australia will stand by Israel as we've so much in common like Nova said... and I'll be more than happy to discuss Aboriginal history to you and whoever would like to listen to OUR STORIES not the stories that Australia let's the world hear about Aboriginal people.... for instance they always dispute the times of occupation of Aboriginal people in Australia and this isn't something that we come up with but white scientists often from other countries that bring up these dates as it has changed from 40000yrs+ then 60000+yrs and most recently there's been evidence of fire stick burning that dates back even further which is 120000+yrs but that's a whole different story...then people mention the Great Flood of Noah which I also wondered about however scientists have put this down to the last Ice Age and the Northern Hemisphere becoming completely inhabitable...I can't really explain this in scientific terms but we do have Dreamtime stories about rising sea levels which brought some of the coastal tribes inland and other Dreamtime stories about changes in habitation and more...so if that happened during the Great Flood then IDK but it's probably the closest I can tell you that's been passed down through Dreamtime stories.... anyway again much love from Perth Western Australia and my people ♥️🖤💛🙏 for Israel we STAND

I personally love Ash Dargan, he has a Corroboree album which is more traditional Aboriginal ceremonies I think.
I also love the movies Ten Canoes, Sweet Country, and Walkabout.
The Aboriginals have also suffered a lot, I feel sadness for the pain of their identity itself being attacked and defamed. I think is a great pain, which is very similar to the pain of racism/antisemitism.

Nova, your stance for the Jewish people reminds me of the Aboriginal elder William Cooper, who protested against the Nazi mistreatment of Jews during Kristallnacht, in 1938. Some consider it to be the only protest, at the time, in the World. That he showed moral courage - standing up for German Jewish people, at a time when they had few friends, made him stand out as a giant of humanity. You are like a modern version of him. Perhaps you have been born for a time - such as this. May the God of Israel bless you for your stance. A few weeks ago here in New Zealand I asked a Maori pro Palestine protestor why as a Maori he was opposed to the indigenous Jews of Israel having rights to the land, I was assaulted for my efforts, and mobbed by the rest of the hateful group he was with. I will never understand why some Maori, (and note I say "some"), take this stance, I would have thought that if any people group would identify with the Jews, it would be the Maori, but alas, many do not. There are some, and in particular Dr Sharee Trotter who leads the Indigenous coalition for Israel, she works tirelessly as a Maori Professor of history to educate her people as to who are the rightful people of Israel. Hi I'm a Aboriginal woman from Perth Western Australia and I've just commented on a previous comment on this video and I mentioned that I disapprove of anybody putting the Aboriginal flag up alongside any kind of protest that doesn't involve Aboriginal issues...it's not something that Aboriginal people stand by and as a people some Aboriginal people may not know the full truth about situation in Israel and the history of the Jewish people and the sufferings U have endured since God told Moses to save his people from slavery in Egypt... I've done alot of research on this subject and I've read up on the many invasions of Israel from the Ottoman Empire to the Roman Empire and I sympathize with ur people and the history of genocide and oppression Jewish people have endured... so please don't think all Aboriginal people agree with any Pro Palestinian movement as my people and myself fully support Israel and the Jewish community... much love from Perth Western Australia ♥️🖤💛🙏🙏

My aunt was denied entry to Australia after our family was kicked out of Egypt because she was too dark for the white Australia policy. Telling Jews that they are fair targets if they do not disavow their connection to Israel is disgraceful. A two state solution is the only way but the Palestinians have never accepted that. They kept attacking Israel convince that they could push it into the sea. Calling for the destruction of the Jewish homeland is antisemitic. Like most progressives, I don’t agree with Netanyahu or the religious right but I do feel that Israel has a right to exist in peace with its neighbours. Thank you for telling the truth.

Nova, I am a nobody, worked alongside Perth's indigenous people as a volunteer for about five years now. I am not a Jew, not even religious, but, I stand 100% with our Aboriginal and our Jewish Australians and 100% with Israel too. I often wonder why indigenous people would stand with Palestinians. Not the Palestinians that have tried to live a normal life under Hamas. I’ve seen posts of indigenous peoples in Canada that stand with an ideology that hates Jews. I’ve seen the struggle of indigenous peoples here in Canada, trying to have a place in their own country. Indigenous peoples of Canada are our first peoples. The Jews of Israel are the indigenous peoples of that land.
