I love how Sam’s accent got thicker the more whiskey he had! 🤣
Rebecca Jo he actually says that his accent gets stronger when he drinks in an interview with Variety “actors in actors” haha
Watching this show got me to buy some Scotch Whiskey bottled in that same part of Scotland...lol. It was fun drinking a little of it while watching the show. :-)

Thank you my fan😊
22:35 - Appreciate Cait interjecting by saying it wasn't Claire being a career woman that put the wedge between her and Brianna. It was the HUGE secret she had to keep from her. Yes, exactly!
I love when Diana explained how she created Claire and how she came to be a combat nurse. Her thought process is so intriguing

Isn't Sam just the most delightful man. So handsome and funny and charming.
I canna agree more!!! 🥰😂🏴🔥
Yes, Sam is fantastic♡
you're just turned on by him lmfao stfu
Who else is watching this again after finishing season 5?
Meeee
Meeeeee Also
Meeee as well!
Ha ha ha ha, done! lmao
For the second time😊❤❣
I would like to draw attention to beautiful music that completes the whole work.
Stella Budkiewicz right?! That stunning authentic Scotland fairy songs with the womans voice. Takes me back to that time period!
Absolutely true! Especially in season 1. Though there are special moments all through the seasons. For example, when Jamie and Murtagh meet again in S4. That violin piece! The styles and instrumentation in all the seasons add a lot to create the feeling of the place and atmsphere. Excellent job, Bear McCreary!👌👏👏
Outstanding music! The leader (of which I initially believed it was sung by caitriona Balf herself) , and the melancholic Scottish-Jacobite war-song (Moch Sa Mhadainn) about Bonny prince Charley (=Thearlaich), and all other music. constantantly high level and adequate. (Like "americanizing" Scottish themes!)
And THAT'S why the show works.
Why
Rik's Glasgow accent is killing me! Sam's right in saying he's not Scottish enough, he speaks the most beautiful mid-Atlantic, easiest to comprehend! 🥰
Yes!!! Excellent panel! It's so frustrating to watch panels/interviews where they just ask them silly questions... No need to talk about Sam being a 'sex symbol' or the old and new 'hot couple'... That's getting annoying and they deserve better than that. And having Diana there is just right. She should always be invited. Thanks for uploading!
Couldn't agree more with your comment 👍
@@belindaweatherall7042 Ditto
true! pls dont categorize both as 'hot couple'...they both played the role highly professional giving justice even too intimate to act on it but the author Ms Diana admired their performance.
i just binged all seasons and i can't believe i thought this was some silly time travel crap. this is one of the best shows i have watched in my 48 years if not the best and i loved mad men ,breaking bad ,GOT(until the last season) and a few others but this truly is such an amazing thing!
Adored this panel. So natural and spontaneous. Also the presence of Diana rises the level incredibly. The interaction between them all, the anecdotes, Diana’s notes, everything made this enjoyable and wish for more intelligent interviews like it. Great.
Thank you so much I really appreciate you
It's my greatest honor to have you as a fan 😍
@@samheughan5525 quit trying to say that your one of the actual main actors “Sam Heughan”! You are an imposter! And should be ashamed of yourself! Sam has his real fan page credited & proofed to be legit. Please just stop doing things like this!
@Liliana Rodriguez 😞😞
Probably no one notices the Ingenious of a person that Cait is. She is so very well read and has her way around the words.
She is indeed! ❤️
Absolutely! There's so many fan comments about how it's unfathomable that she didn't get together with Sam because he's good looking, as though that's all that matters, whereas honestly I don't think he or any other cast member is quite in her league when it comes to intellect.
@@Delinae So true!!
I noticed ! She gave professional and well thought answers !
@@Delinae intelligence is not always verbal. Caitriona is articulate and amusing, but men do not always present in that way. Think of all the inarticulate, very intelligent mathematically inclined men. Sometimes they are actors, but a bit shy. I would think The comments of Tobias are concise, but very astute.
This whole extraordinary story!! Fell in love and lost myself in the opening scene and everything along the way. Outlander is a remarkable hift. Whoever the casting dept. is. It's brilliant. My fav...Sam Heughan. 🥇🌠🏴❤🏰🐴🎭👑🗝🗡🪓🛡🏹🔗🛏
35:23 "I'm so drunk" and Sam's reaction It's so funny Ajfikaodkaod
Cait is so funny - she should drink during all panels!
Sam is always funny♡

Sams laugh! Love it! 💋
The finale on Season 5 was genius. Incredibly creative. And risky. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Sam's work this season was spectacular.
Richard Rankin has a beautiful singing voice! This group of actors are perfectly cast for Diana's books! Such a great presentation here!
The interviewer is by far the best one they've ever had. The rest of them always act so silly or extra. She is always great!
Caitriona is HILARIOUS!! I love her so much
Please have a Lord John Gray spin off series! He’s a kind and emotional guy, David Berry played so well.
I love that Caitriona gets that Diana has created a global community, sheer testimony to the popularity of her literature.
I love Sam and Caitriona ❤️. They are funny, kind, genuine and so talented. Above all their friendship is one of a kind , so special ❤️
Hearing this interview and hearing that Diana’s writing was closely followed excites me even more for the rest of the season.
Cait, Sam, Sophie, and Richard are like my new family. I want to adopt all of them and keep them in my heart all the time, every day. Love them all. Thank you for the panel discussion.
You are a LOVELY SOUL 🤔‼️‼️‼️😘
I feel the same way Dianne. I want to invite them all over for dinner. They're all darling people and such a joy to watch!
I love how shy Sam still is... He is one of the GOOD ones!!!!!!!
Diana has an amazing imagination, that what’s makes her writing so good.
Best interviewer ever. She always facilitates the best from Outlander folk. Shows them at their best to be the beautiful, intelligent, kind, talented people that they are.
This is by far, one of the best panels I've seen of the Outlander cast. Extra funny and cute (thanks to all the whiskey...smart move😂🤭), they all have such good chemistry with each other. Loved it❤️
Agree they actually have it together on this one
The Whiskey "game" at the begining was a brilliant way to get them laughing, and us as well! So much fun watching
Since I start watching Outlander can’t stop until the 6th season. hopefully 7th season coming? very good actors and actress . While watching the series I felt like I am back on those times 17th century.the best ever I had watched so far. Sam and Catriona really amazing doing their part. Bravo👍
Best panel ever. They all feel so real and approachable. Absolutely lovely.
Thank so much I really appreciate you!!!
It's my greatest honor to have you as a fan 😍
Loved the children and animals comment by Cat.😂
Julie Kosinski should officiate the Outlander panel for every season, I love her questions and you can see that cast and crew seems so much at ease with her. As always it is pleasure to see Diana with the panel.
God no, with these stupid games etc... Why ?
Agree
Great interview. 2nd time watching since late last night. I am new to Outlander. Discovered it in Sept before season 4. Fell in love with show. I Always read comments. Cant believe what people say. I agree season 1 was the best, only because it was 1st. People dont like change & Outlander is always changing. Some say the acting between Cait & Sam have changed, they don't like Cait anymore. I disagree, In all 5 seasons don't they see the looks that Jamie &Claire give each other....no words are needed. I find them amazing. If you don't like, stop watching instead of complaining. Not one to like love scenes in movies, they are out of place & dont have anything to do with the story. In Outlander I look forward to them. S5E1 I have watched 3 or 4 times now. Cant wait to see more & read book 9. LOVE THIS SHOW, great cast. My favorites Will always be Claire & Jamie.🥰👏
Yes preach! I totally agree with you.
I just love this série. Great acting. Everybody is talking about ‘’ Jamie the stud’’. I love the Jamie face and eyes’ the way he expresses love, tenderness, joy.,pain, awe. Love him.♥️
The finale of season 5 is now over and I must say, this season has been my favorite since Season 1!!! It was so well done!
It was really good.
Sophie is literally the cutest and samcait kill me with their interactions with each other🤣🥰
Yes I agree with you about Sophie
Diana is such a gifted writer.
Alcohol induced giggles are the best!
I ❤️❤️Sam outfit, he looks so gorgeous!💋
I've got the SAM HEUGHEN HANDSOME MAN BLUES.....Z
Every season has been great but season 1, I can watch over and over....and I do!!! Every character is perfection!
OMG When Diana Gabaldon talks about how she starting writing her first book and how Claire came to be, it was the best thing she could ever talk about to an aspiring writer! She's amazing. Ooh, she needs to do a freakin Master Class!
These guys are so much fun when they are all a bit "relaxed" (or tipsy?). This was such a great panel!
As a reader of the books, even if the show does deviate some, people need to understand that the books are very long and some changes need to be made and as it is, the show is so well cast
I suspect it's best to treat the two as different animals:)
there's little in common
@@renmarkable7905 was wondering how books compare to series
When Caitriona said, "He's still young... he's still my toy boy," she really sounded a lot like Cate Blanchett 😂
What did he say her on that? He whispered quickly something, I can't hear.
@@Add397 he said, 'thanks, babe.'
Sam and cait are the show it would not work without them their the ⭐️ ❤️🤗
The press for S5 has been kicked up a notch too! 🙌
Excellent panel. Love it when Diana speaks, its like the voice of God, lol! So funny when the cast talks about the notes they get from her.
The cuteness between Sophie and Richard at 31:40 is too much to handle 😍 I love all their friendships, you can clearly see how well they all get along.
They are both wonderful actors Sam is so different to Jamie. Sam transformation into Jamie is miraculous.
Thanks for your utmost love comment and support. You’ve contributed in making my career a huge success. I do appreciate and love you dearly for being such and amazing fan. Where are you watching from?.

This has to be the best panel I’ve seen !!!! They’re like a real family. Must be fun to drink with them.
Richard is so charismatic and great in interviews 😁
Who else found Sophie’s “i don’t know, they’re heavy” the most adorable thing in the world?
This was unquestionably one of the best - if not *the* best - interview/panel with the stars.
13:43 Diana being the badass she’s and shading the stupid deviations the writers did last season 🙌🏻👏🏻
What are the deviations they did in season 4? I have never read the books and have only watched the show so I wouldn't know 😅
I watch the show, but really enjoy the books and hope the changes the show has made doesn’t effect the new books
Jasmin the stupidest that comes to mind - and I cannot believe they actually did this - was to have Brianna deliver Jemmy without her parents and we were left with the boring scenes with her and Jocasta. And the tender moments between Jamie and Brianna mentioned in the books brought tears to my eyes; the part where Brianna sat and cried on Jamie’s lap, after it was revealed what she went through with Bonnet, and she asked him to sing for her, was so emotional and well written.
Now granted they don’t have to follow every scene and act the way it was written but the season lacked the moments were you actually see Jamie and Brianna get used to each other, or how Brianna was very comforted by her father especially since he knows what she might be feeling. These small changes ruined season 4 in my opinion, I was left wanting to see so much more of the father-daughter scenes!
@@AG-lc8fy very well said, season was a dud.
@@AG-lc8fy Now that you mention that, even though I haven't read the books I did feel like there was something missing between Jamie and Brianna, there was a kind of lack of connection I guess? It felt pretty cold and superficial, so it makes sense that it's because some (clearly wonderful!) parts of the story were removed in the show. Thank you for sharing this!
I personally think this is brilliant. It's haunting, stark, barren and hopeful. In a nutshell, it's war. And a big one to boot. The 5th book is pivotal to the whole series, and while I've seen some comments about it being boring, it is anything but. While there may not seem to be as much happening as in previous seasons, what does happen is monumental. If they have been able to stay as true as possible to the book, this season will be the most intense and emotionally charged by far and an amazing experience for the fans. Thank you Starz, this is one hell of an awesome Christmas present! Much Love!
My goodness.. Main favorites 😍😍although missing many of them. The way Cait picked up Scott accent was lit 🤣🤣🤣
Wonderful humans, incredible actors, really fun panel just showing their strong friendships and their humor. Loved this so much.
I was there in the audience and this was AMAZING🙌🙌🙌 (100% was the youngest in the audience at 17😂)
Wow! So exciting! I hope to go sometime!
Wow! Richard's voice!
I loved this show so much that this kinda feels like sitting with family
I love the camaraderie of this ensemble.
What an absolutely fabulous cast 👏THANK YOU
MISS HIS CURLY RED HAIR OF DAYS GONE BY. THE WIGS ARE COOL THOUGH,
I was thinking the same!
They're pretty well done but...I don't like the wigs at all...
He’s super hot in season 5. Glad the bangs are gone.
I just loveeee cait’s laugh the whole cast is funny
Love hearing how Diana writes.
Sam totally guessed it right the first time that B is Scotch.. but because the others were saying it is A, he went along with them. That totally explains his reaction when he found out B is indeed Scotch.
31:00 is my favorite part 😂 Caitriona about Sam’s age and Richard not getting an invite lol
Richardddd!!!! He’s so funny & dreamy and they voice!!! I can’t believe people didn’t like his character. I loved Roger!
I LOVE this show I am hooked now I am going to read the books. Great writing, awesome acting. I have scottish blood from my great grandfather and this gives me and insight into that lifestyle and history I never knew before.Thank you
"We do not. We're producers now. *SACK HER."*
I'M WHEEZING
Thanks so much for finally sharing the whole panel...I love when they discuss intelligent questions in amongst the friendly joking and sips of whisky...and it is so neat that the author enjoys the adaptation of her work...I remember the first Outlander panel from 92Y which I loved. The comparison highlights what an amazing journey the actors have had becoming these characters!
Fantastic panel !!! ....a wee bit of alcohol and everybody loosens up...that was fun and relaxed !
That was awesome!!! Love hearing Richard sing ❤️❤️❤️ my heart melts
That's why we love outlander
Would you believe I never saw it. So I got all 5 seasons on DVD and binge watched the entire thing in a week. I was so good I re-watched it all again in the following 2 weeks. Now I can't wait for season 6. That's why I came to you tube now to see interviews with the actors. Didn't realize Caitriona and Sophie were doing accents in the show. Bring on season 6 ! :-)
I watched same way bc of lockdown stay home no work. I had heard of it but never had time to watch before. Watched whole thing …watched again….watched again. Library got tired of lending to me so purchased two seasons I liked best to watch again….
@@totaloutlanderobsession8013 So WHEN do we get to see season 6? I hate long delays for any story to continue. (Right?)

One of the most fun interviews with the Outlander crew! 😍
Richard is always so handsome but here he looks especially dashing. :)
Love Sam's little wink at 29:08.

what does he say to her before?
This was so much fun of a panel! it's like a conversation among close friends like the banter at 44:00.
Finally! Finally this interview got uploaded. I've seen clips of this in instagram but never enough. Need to watch the whole thing. Thanks for uploading! Such a fun panel this was! 😍 ♥
Sam is a true gem
Great panel! Love them all. Richard is so fun when he loosens up!
Richard singing = perfection!
Love Diana - she's just so understated :-)
22:20 loved how Sophie and Caitriona talked!
I love all four of them, season 5 is probably my third favourite season after season 3 and season 1 ; Jamie and Claire are perfect as always, but i have to say that in the fifth season, but i have to say that in the fifth season, even the characters of Bree and Roger completely stole my heart
Claire hasn’t got that very cute laugh that Catriona has it’s so cute.
I love Time period movies. This series was wonderful. I appreciated all the actors and great writers.
Wonderful panel and Sam is amazing this season. Love all these characters and of course Diana!
I was there! It was such a fun panel too! 8:54 is when Richard was telling me, ‘no, I’ll drink it later,’ when I asked to share the whiskey. Thank you 92Y to allow us to be apart of such a fun night to remember - with the main characters and author of Outlander. 😁🙌🏻
I love this season!! Brought back the magic!!
Wow Richard can actually sing!
How nice to see them actually for once relax and be more themselves a v good interviewer lady and i absolutely loved it
I really like Richard’s sense of humour
Awww! I love this crowd! They're so fun to watch rather than the previous ones. (in my opinion) I'd have Angus and Rupert back they were great funny actors.
I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING!!!! I miss them so much.
Bravo à tous les acteurs.Felicitations à Diana Gabaldon pour ses livres Outlander un régal à lire.. Les 5 saisons sont remarquables! Vivement les prochaines saisons! Damn, I'm dying to see this season and don't have Foxtel (which we use instead of Starz here). Can't wait till I can get it on DVD. They are all so gorgeous and fun, love how the alcohol started to kick in, lol! Must have the best parties together! Good interviews and so glad they didn't have all the frivolous questions about 'hot couples' etc, that they so often have. It's great when actors explain their process and give insights into their acting and how the the work all came together.
