If Adam Peters keep that pick at #29 I really don't see them taking another slot CB when this team had the 30th ranked rushing defense and gave up a 60 yd TD by Saquon on his 1st carry. I honestly believe that they will concentrate on getting this front 7 in order to stop run or protection of Jayden Daniels. I would bet pretty good money that Adam Peters will go Edge rusher that can set a Edge or OT maybe Conerly Jr or Membu if available or Shemar Stewart, JT Tuimoloau, Jack Sawyer. I believe they will address CB in Free agency

It all depends on what we do in FA. If we’re offensive line heavy in FA we’ll draft WR or edge R1, vise versa. I’d love Egbuka or Burden but they won’t be there so Golden from Texas would be nice. Scourton might not be there but he looks good as well. Elic ayomanor is someone I’d love to snag, been a fan of his for years
I love Higgins from Iowa State. An he doesn't drop the football. Catches everything. Watch the film for yourself he knows how to read defenses. Always stops in zones.

I would take O. Hampton at 29 not Barron. Brian Robinson is an average Rivera leftover. And we never really saw the real Lattimore because he was injured. We aren't releasing him and keeping Igbonoghene, thats clinical. Peters gave the Saints good draft capital for Lat, so using more draft capital on a CB early would spell failure on his part. We need weapons and O-Line for JD5, build on your strengths.

I agree with your point about having a full year to study film on Jayden and our offense. We’ve gotta get another weapon for Jayden and bolster the o line at the tackle positions. I would love to have DK Metcalf or Chris Godwin.
@@Uaintfirsturlast there’s no film that’s going to help any team stop Jayden Daniels . He’s something that’s never been seen before . A Qb that’s pass first but can run his ass off , and he’s situationally aware! It’s about surrounding him with elite talent at this point !

We most definitely need a dynamic RB to pair with JD5. That'll take a lot of pressure off of JD & make defenses play us honestly.

Why do you think we would draft cb in the first? Also why do you think they will keep Mikey on the outside? It seems weird to do either. First the cb pool in free agency is good. Second we need edge and wr more because we don’t have a lot of options in free agency. As well as Mikey was drafted as an inside and played outside because we had no one. I do not recall them saying this was permanent but a happy surprise. And Mikey struggled against speed on the outside and gave blankets to rally to the tackle. Idk if he’s an outside star corner reminds me of Desmond king.
Depending whose available we definitely should go CB 1st round but Mikey should not stay on the outside, I notice he sometimes freezes against the bigger WRs in space, he needs go back to the nickel where he belongs
We will be drafting better players at the end of the first round than we were in the top 10. I could not be more excited
Mikey is not a full time outside corner . He lacks the ideal size in all that space and he’s quicker than fast so he lacks the desired speed playing in space as well . He can hold his own but against the better ,faster ,
bigger receivers he’s going to struggle !
AP is a smart man and our 1st two picks will be LT and outside CB. Getting a starting LT makes Coleman a top 15 gaurd who can flex into any position on the line. Getting a starting outside CB turns mikey into the No.1 slot CB in the NFL.

We don't need Frozone staying outside. We need him inside. We see his limitations on the outside. He plays too far off because he can't run with certain receivers. The first pick was flawed from the beginning.

If we want a true Lockdown CB in the first then DRAFT ONE, stop with all the slot CB shit please. Take Revel, Morrrison etc or take another position. Why do yall RUclipsrs ALWAYS draft for positions of need when the GM has proven to draft BPA
I'd take that Safety from SC if he's there with our first pick. I know it's not a need but you don't pass on playmakers. Secondly, we can get a CB later and would prefer to put Saintrisil back at Nickel
Washington will take Colston Loveland first if he's available. Every elite QB has an eliteTE. Loveland is that dude. Ertz can barely get up after tackled, and he's not explosive. Loveland has great hands, he's big, he's a good blocker, and he can be explosive after the catch. It's a no-brainer.
Barron is a good player but we need to move Mikey inside and get a true outside corner…I would go edge in the first round. Any of them that drop like Sawyer, Scourton or Green. We need to be able to set the edge as well as get pressure to collapse the pocket & also end those outside runs that killed us all season!
The commanders offense was never a concern, however their defense was consistently inconsistent. They need to get physically stronger 💪, across the roster #0 showed the kind of effort that's needed to compete. He is just really small and needs some muscle 💪, if the entire defense plays with his heart and effort... Overall performance will definitely improve 🧐🤨💯‼️

F the pick, trade it and more picks (maybe Jon Allen) for myles Garrett and metcalf. Sign lineman in FA like stanley or becton, sign ward. Sign osa (dt). Draft left guard or tackle,lb,wr,cb. Let go of Noah brown, zaccheus, st juste. Throw khalil Mack a low-mid offer too. Go all in while jd is on his rookie contract we all no we have no doubt in this guy, even on a game winning Super Bowl drive.
(Don’t have to do all these things), not getting Mack or metcalf is fine and rather getting Godwin instead for less
Washington Commanders must Stop the Run vs Eagles a 3-4 Defense Draft in 2025 , means DE or DT , 1st Rd ,2nd Rd I like Jaden Higgins WR in 3rd Rd or a TE in 3rd Rd, in a Slight Trade Down from 1st Rd Commanders can pick up a Extra 3rd or 4th Rd pick or more....Big RB is a Priority for Time Clock Management similar to Derrick Henry , Ravens.......Commanders may have to Prioritise LBs/Safety's Hybrids vs Eagles also a 3-4 Defense to stop the Run vs Eagles.....

Hell no!!!! Were not drafting a slot corner inthe first damn round just dumb, plus everybody knows DQ jwjr like fast long corners and safetys. No way you go into next year with 3 of the exact same corner.
