    no way the old guy did not know about the procedure for taking samples. he should have given you liquid sampler tool along with the bottle.

      I have a 2000 watt inverter. It’s the inverter that came with the truck. It works fine for me.

    Love your videos. Makes me wanna sign up. Question. When you off load “pump out” I see that you stay back there just in case “everyone buddy Murphy law” happens. How long does it take? Guessing couple hours.
    Also, I think the guy did it on purpose. He sounded like a grumpy old man that needs to be fired or put somewhere else.

    Hey Bro I’m going to be driving food grade tanks for the first time coming from flatbed and I’m trying to get a gauge on the difference in driving through curves at highway speed. Let’s say you’re on 40 and the speed limit is 65mph and you’re coming up to a curve, do you slow waaaay down or maintain speed? I start training this week actually (in cab) and that’s the one things that I question. Enjoy the videos.

      As long as you’re not going into a steep curve you should maintain your speed.

    Are you a company driver or lease ? Asking because I thought most company drivers had lightweight trucks . They just started the lightweights when I was there and at the time they were putting all company drivers in them . One of the reasons I left.

    Is Prime hiring new tank drivers with little to no tanker experience or do they make you drive trailers before moving over to tankers? I just got my CDL and tanker endorsement less then 5 months ago.

      You’re young don’t worry about how much you make an hour! When I was younger everyone told me I wasn’t getting paid for what I was doing. Ten years later I make more than most of the people that have been doing this for years.

      @@mrjones489That’s absolutely terrible advice. Just because he’s young doesn’t mean he shouldn’t understand or keep track of what hes averaging per hour. I’ve always done that whether I was getting paid by the load or by the Mile so I could compare my day to day income and see what I could do better to improve my efficiency as a driver. Breaking it down by the hour Also gives you a better understanding of what loads are worth running and what loads aren’t if you have a choice.

    i ain't gonna lie, i woulda reported that shipper to prime for real. they did you dirty on purpose. prolly cuz they knew the produc would stick to the paint. i prolly wouldn't load their again. that was unacceptable on their part. very unprofessional by them. you handled it good though.
