Oh wow!!! Won $50K on accident??! So cool!!! Timing is everything- how wonderful!
by accident. 'on accident' makes no sense.
@@biegebythesea6775tell that to the moron in the video who says “like” every other word
@@biegebythesea6775 it's all about where you were raised/live. on/by is definitely used.
This was my favorite Make It yet. I love that she is able to make a living by being authentically herself and following what naturally interests her.
I'm favoured, Getting my own Truck has always been my Dream for my business. I just acquired 2 recently, earning $32K weekly has been really helpful. I can now give back to the locals in my community and also support Charity Organizations. I really appreciate your videos CNBC
As a beginner what do I need to do? How can I invest, on which platform? If you know any please share.
I'd really like to get into crypto Investing. I have about $145k set aside, but I don't know anything about this market. Would you please provide the best approach to make money as well as a trustworthy resource for advice? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
The very first time we tried, we invested $1000 and after a week, we received $7500. That really helps us a lot to pay up our bills.
Still regret that I sold my bitcoin early last year, even after my colleague insisted we shouldn't. Please Is Bitcoin still a safe buy to outperform the market this year? I still kept my money in the money market and with over $120k maturing soon, I plan investing well in it. Here for ideas
As a beginner investor, it's essential for you to have a mentor to keep you accountable. Myself, I'm guided by Deborah Davis. A widely known crypto consultant
This was a great story! It was inspiring and gave a realistic look at owning a business. Not every business is going to be some insane tech company only worried about increasing revenue to unrealistic heights every year. Thanks for sharing!
Love this! Seems like a lot of fun. A business like this would have good longevity, learning, creating & being a part of a community never go out of style.
Ah yes, because businesses like these thrived during the pandemic and recession.
I agree. We need stimulation and community. ❤😢
@@Betweoxwitegan Businesses can be shifted online, & recessions & pandemics don’t last forever
@@ccora_faith Ah yes because shifting a physical learning and communal business online isn't going to decrease revenue at all. Not to mention those people need to now buy their own supplies and in return receive a worse service and they would probably be paying more. You then also have your physical location which is basically just draining profits every month not being utilized.
@@lastazakana Yeah I agree, however when there were more stringent restrictions on businesses and the movement of people revenue would've likely diminished, if you survive that then you can bounce back after because there will be a higher demand.
She has so much humility and is passionate about giving people a creative outlet, not just “owning a business.” She deserves all the success and wishing her a life of happiness!!
This is great but the $25k a month is very misleading - she's made $147k over 12 months so $12k per month.
Describing a business's income by its top month is poor practice
They literally said '25k in the last month', so no misleading there.
@@cano147not in the thumbnail unfortunately! Booo, clickbait!
The title says “my side hustle NOW brings in 25k/month” so it’s right. Nothing misleading
I think watching this was so helpful! Communities are what we lack in a lot of places. And as a person who only found a small community in my early 30's... like... it was very difficult navigating life without having a group to lean on for brainrots, ideas, guidance, or even good silly fun. I hope places like these continue to thrive!
So 25k...net 16000....64% profit margins....Gross 300k Profit 192k Expenses...72k expenses...personal wages...66k a year
This was an emotional, wonderful and amazing one. Her personality, optimism, can do, and flexible spirit is great. It is always amazing when someone can do what they love, be compensated for it and make a living. Wishing her the best.
This is the Law of Atraction in action! Way to go, girl!
I am so happy for Liz. This story makes me belive in good again amidst this job crisis.
The more people flourish doing the things they love, the more a hammer breaks away at my fear of trying certain things I always had thought of.
Hopefully, I'll be on this one day.
Cheers to this talented woman.
This is why we need seed money in the world. College debt is holding so many young people back.
We need to get the federal government out of loaning money. Schools know there's unlimited money to lend so they keep raising tuition. Private banks would only lend money for worthwhile degrees and for what people could reasonably pay back.
How about don’t go into student debt in the first place? Why is this a hard concept for people? You just as easily could have gotten a 100,000 dollar small business loan instead of a liberal arts degree. Stop blaming the country for your bad decisions.
@@frankwest911 who is giving 100000 small business loans to 16 year olds?
Really appreciate this feature! It's a great example of a biz built around creativity and community. Would love to achieve that someday!
I love this story! Not only is she happy from her business, she’s bringing happiness to others by creating a space where people can make friends/connect with friends, learn new skills and work on their art. ❤ I would love to go there one day!
This was so inspirational! Liz, I loved watching you create a space/environment where you get to share your love of arts and crafts. This video encourages us to think outside of the box!
This was a nice and interesting story, great job Liz! ❤
Cool business. Unites people, unique environment for people relax and learn new skill
Liz Chick’s journey from botanical dye kits to a bustling creative hub is inspiring! Leveraging community-driven events can greatly enhance visibility and engagement, turning initial challenges into sustainable success. 🌟
I love this! What an awesome business! She has great energy! I wish her continued success! 🎉
This is so inspiring!
Love these stories like this!!!
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Going for your dreams is so important. 74.00 a chair? An office supply warehouse, a restore or even Walmart would have been better.
Good for her! This is so cool to live off your creative passions 💛
Another inspiring video! I wish I was doing my dream job full time
Thank you for sharing your story! Very inspiring!
Sounds like a pretty exclusive place esp by how much they charge participants for what you can essentially do at a library or meetup group etc regardless of age
She's killing it! Great story & the business know-how and "knowledge of self" she's exhibiting at 27 is beyond impressive. I hope things keep going well for her! You're an inspiration, Liz!
Wow this is amazing! What a cool idea this is and good for her getting this going! 🎉
Good for her!! Happy for her ideas coming to life!!
I love this video so much and find it very inspiring! I am a Recreational Therapist and love this idea!
Well explained.Thank you for bringing up this video. Financial education is indeed required for more than 70% of the society in the country as very few are literate on the subject....Thanks to Laura Ferguson, the lady you recommended.....
Investment has been the easiest means to save and multiple money because money left for saving ends up used without returns.
That is true my dear, Investment is the best idea presently and without it, human struggles are worthless.
No doubt!! I never knew Laura Ferguson, had gone viral. I decided to back up my assets and property with her when we met at a conference in New Jersey for the first time.
Same here, I am also grateful to Laura, though I started with as low as $1,000 actually because it was my first time and it was successful. She's a great personality in the state...
Please Is there anyway I can get across this woman for a startup???
So glad you guys gave her some shine! I hope it helps her grow! ❤🥳
How amazing! Love this niche story
Love this - what a fantastic business idea and rad human.
So inspiring! ❤🎉 thank you for sharing.
Love hearing about the success of creatives
Love this!! More of these are popping up in Minnesota. So encouraging!!!!
Wow! Such a wonderful story. And a beautiful concept. Well done! Keep going:)
Amazing video! Thank you @CNBC!
So cool! I host content creator events in my city also and monthly meetups for my followers and sell tickets. I always said I need my own content studio!
Loved this so much!
Congratulations 🎉❤ inspiring.
I love this so much!
I am happy for Liz. Do what you love!
love this !
This is wonderful, great job
Creativity has been key 👍🏻
No way! Very creative ❤
This is a great story
Happy for her. I’m up next
She really needs to turn this into a franchise.
not necessarily. not every business needs to be franchised.
Congratulations! 🌹🌹🌹
Such a positive story!
Amazing 🤩
Amazing!
love it !!
Amazing
Wow, bringing people together in creativity is so cool!
Very cool
This is a lovely idea! We need more third spaces so this is great!
"put something out on the internet, and 30 strangers will just, come. That's amazing"
Yes. I agree. Yes it is.
i guess this is as good a place as any to ask this, but is there anyone out there that has any experience/aspiration to open a hotel or become a hotelier? i have worked in hospitality close to 30 years and i want to start opening a small chain of hotels in areas that are in need of community redevelopment and economic stimulation. is there anyone here that that type of knowledge or aspiration? thanks
How cool!😎😄
Super scalable idea too…. Coming soon to your city?
I want to win 50k by accident 😢
Haha😂😂
go liz!
Good news story !
So many men at this event.
Wow just wow
The Ella Emhoff in the video is the VP's step daughter, right?
I've been to classes like this in LA. The classes are so small. Fewer than what's shown here. I wondered if they really make enough profit.
25k/month in title but actually pays herself 5.5k/month. 16k profit at 01:52 but that doesn't even include payment to artists and taxes like wtf. CNBC misleading as always.
In the financial breakdown, why wasn't the $5k extra cost added into it?
Thank you for the video. Have you got an email I can contact you on regards to this ? I am really struggling with living costs in the UK and would love to get started on this. Thank You George
Sweet, love that $16000 bottom line!!
Having the title "Vice President, Kamala Karris' step-daughter" is wild af!
Yes! To start a business, you need capital! You also need to be ready with an idea, but you need capital!
I’m happy when creative people are earning coz most times we be struggling 🥂 Go Liz
How does she market this?
Glad you figured out how to monetize it.
$100,000 student loans…
She is smart and creative! Try to pay that debt down a little each month!
Do you know how expensive it is to maintain a nose ring every month?
I wonder if she will ever franchise her business.
Net vs profit...two different animals. When we had our photo rental studio / with staff we needed to bring in $25K just for our expenses.
Why is she wasting $75 on "vintage" folding chairs? Imagine how uncomfortable those are
I thought the same thing.
I guess when you start a successful crafting business making $25k in revenue a month you’ll be able to make a different decision.
I wanna be her friend!
Tax took 20k?! 😵😵😵 That musta hurt
Make higher resolution thumbnails
There is nothing proprietary here. The valuation is too high
Cnbc 😃
Can we come back to this story in a year?
How’d she get the original $50k? Did she say by accident? If so, what’s that mean? Did family help her? Or did she say she was in an accident (insurance money).
Not hating at all but these details really help me personally when seeing these kind of stories.
I think she said she won a sweepstakes when checking her school loans
9
I love this! Go you!
That's great she had $50 head start though to invest..
100k student debt to work in the park???
😂😭 that’s how it be nowadays😭😭
Get into a trade
She's waiting for it to be forgiven.
Hopefully she is paying her first employee a liveable wage if that employee is full time
