@@davidcalder8210 brilliant hill! That's a hill I looked at for years driving past on the road! Such a shapely big hulk and a brilliant walk up through that hanging coire. Fantastic! 👍👍😁😁

Nice one Paul. Another great vlog👌 Great when the clag lifts and ye get inversion conditions. Bring back good memories of ma trip with Robin. That wire bridge was scary with a full camping pack like 😳
Cheers Kev, watched your video before I did the walk. Kudos with the big packs like! One of my favourite walks to date I think! Cheers Kev. Orra best. Paul
Thanks Nicola! Am Bodach is an amazing hill and steep steep steep! It looked like some stone dragon had crash landed on the side of the hill and exploded into a thousand rocky shards! Cheers Paul
Good evening Paul, what an absolute beauty of a video to end our day with, stunning looking route and a fair looking bit of weather too. Loved the dragons back section especially. Stunning 360 too, loved the clouds hanging over the summits. Really lovely Paul, thanks for sharing, Ceri and Kat 🗻👍♥️☕
Thanks guys! this is a visually stunning and wild place. If you ever get back to Scotland defo give this a go! cheers again and thanks for the watch...Besties. Paul.
So many wonderful moments in this video. The views kept changing, and we so incredible. The earlier part of the video was great too, with the fun bridge and stream. Walking those narrow ridges between the Munros looked so beautiful, with full time views on both sides. Incredible day!
Thanks so much guys! This is a classic mountain walk and one that I have cancelled in the past so was so happy to get round! The Mamores are amazing hills and such a special place. Its hard not to be in awe when you are walking around this horseshoe. Thanks for watching and thanks for the comments! cheers again. Paul.
That was epic Paul. Loads of steep ascents and descents but the visuals were worth every breathless step. I really do enjoy your channel and videos - your good company on the hikes. It looked a bit like fairy land up there. Lovely. All the best. Mark
Did the devil’s ridge solo in winter conditions in Oct 94 ish. Walking off into Glen Nevis I got the piss taken out of my bright goretex jacket and salopettes by English knights on the set of Braveheart. One of the more surreal days on the hills.
One of the strangest wee hill stories I think I have heard Richard! I would love to do the walk in winter conditions. Did you do the full ring of steall walk or just a section? I think in winter the full walk would be a long day! Cheers Paul
@@PAADVENTURES1 nah I did Sgor Chalum to Shor an lubhair and across to Sgurr a Mhaim and down into Ben Nevis. Deep soft snow so knackering and yeah it was bonkers walking through the set in full winter kit surrounded by film crew and cast members, no sign of MG though!

I've been waiting on this all week. I know you said you were a little nervous about this walk so soon after your recent illness, but I had every confidence in you😊!! Another great video of a great walk. Well done again👍💪👏!!
Thanks John! I was a bit worried but ended up sailing round. Felt great and really enjoyed it. The absolutely worst part is the final descent, it was a killer! Hows things? You getting out? Paul
Spectacular Paulo! Really nerve-wracking at times but what amazing views! We can't wait to get to Glencoe with kids next month...won't be as dramatic as your walks of course but can't wait to show off their homeland to them!!
Thanks so much! The Mamores are a very special place and well worth a visit up into glen nevis to the steall falls. Quite quick and relatively easy even for the wee ones. Hopefully catch yous up! Paul
Hi Paul, thank you for another excellent video, this brought back many happy memories from what has been one of the best walks / climbs of my life. One point for the unwary: you finished the video at the peak of number 4 (Sgurr a' Mhaim). When we did this we were out for about ten hours, and I remember the descent from number 4 back to the car was a real slog, perhaps nearly 3 hours, over uneasy terrain. A shame in a way because up to the fourth peak it was just continuous enjoyment. There is always something........... Thanks again, J
Thanks John, that's really kind and like you this is probably been one of my favourite walks...you are absolutely right, the descent was horrendous!,, it took us over an hour and a half to get down. One wee fella in front of us fell three times in his haste to get back! I have to admit that both my camera batteries and mic died at the top and I died at the bottom! Thanks again Paul
Wow mate some absolutely stunning views there. Can’t beat it when the cloud lingers over the hill like that, brilliant👌🏻 When I done those hills there was some Salomon race going on and we had a tonne of runners throwing themselves down them, madness lol. Great video mate😊 Cheers, Mark
Excellent stuff Paul. I remember crossing Devils Ridge, years ago, as I recall there is fissure which you have to step across? As a Scottish mountain, newbie, in those days, I seem to remember finding that a little daunting.
Yeah Richard there is a fissure just before the last ascent. It was all misty at this point and wee did attempt it but ended up on the bypass path which I think was more exposed! Cheers again for watching and thanks for the support. All the best, Paul
A classic round. Very enjoyable commentary, helpful pointing out what could be seen from the various vantage points. Your videos are full of information. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Charles! One of my favorite walks in this Munro journey so far! The descent from the last Munro is a killer though 🥴🥴the wee dip in the river helping the legs after it! Thanks again mate! Paul
Yes, driving up next week and aiming for Skye. I booked a guide last year to do the Munro’s. Couldn’t have done them without their help. Anyway I just thought Skye was fabulous and whilst I was after bagging the Munro’s I thought another visit was justified before I get too much longer in the tooth. So hoping to attempt a traverse of the Black Cuillin. May be a step too far! Will base myself in Skye for three weeks but hoping to to take a look at the Munro’s just to the east of Skye. Haven’t done any of them except Beinn Sgritheall. Are you heading that way over the next few weeks by any chance?

Great stuff Paul. This is a truly amazing route. I remember really struggling going up Am Bodach! You were wise to park at lower Glen Nevis. We didn’t and had that walk at the end which was a killer after 9 hours! Love the “ohh” bit at the end with the dip in the water. I bet that felt good !!!

When I did it we parked at lower glen nevis but went in the opposite direction so had the long slog back up to the lower car park at the end.
