Its usually when you have it set to save radiometric data. Technically it is always in black and white the software simply associates different colors to the shade of grey being displayed. If you put your settings on jpeg only I believe it will still save the color you had chosen or you can use the flir software on your pc and change it to whatever you like. We do that for thermal reports to make it easier for clients to understand
When I take photos with mine, no matter what color palette I select, the image is white hot. Any idea why? Have you encountered this? Thank you
