Tsuki, you're right, in that this dorama is so nailed down by the story and plot to Doom at your service because there are so many similarities. It's mystical, it's demon/doom. They both make deals, wear long coats and know they are the coolest and prettiest, yep. And meeting the main character. He came when she was on the verge of death, and his outstretched hand, remind you of anything? 😏 They even slapped him. Both characters. And the main characters are similar too. Both lost their parents at a young age and had to grow up early. God, they have the same actress as their mother! And the special effects, the moment by the sea, those drops frozen in the air. The colour scheme. Well, that's the end of the first episode of dооm. Even the OST song is somewhat similar. And it just keeps getting more of those similarities. I was so glad that at least some dorama repeated that legendary story at least partially.

Tsuki, I think you should consider watching Welcome to Samdal-Ri.
In my opinion, Welcome to Samdal-Ri is one of the best shows at the moment. The story, the characters, the visual just pure top-notch kind of works. The story especially is a really great balance and combination of friendship, work life, love, and family. The production team also make the series a great balance of the romcom, heartfelt, and relationship.
I really recommended to watch the show for you Tsuki & all of you guys that hasn't watch it yet. Trust me it is a masterpiece! (the last episode also just *chef kiss*)
*If you find the early episodes to be a bit too slow or "boring", just hold on cause the fun stuffs are just about to begin!
Yes, it took me a little to get into it, but because I’m such a big fan of Ji Chang Wook, Inhrlpf on and really like it… except the ending is not how wanted it to end. It irritates me when they end this way, esp when it makes no sense. The only one I’ve seen that parting makes sense is “Crash Landing on You”.

At one episode a week this show frustrated me so I started watching Tale of the 9 Tailed. Already all episodes available. Very similar in fantasy and I feel in love with the cast. Only 2 episodes left and then I go back to My Demon.
