That's a masterpiece. It sounds as if this ensemble of musicians has played together for centuries - great! The influence of ELP on Frank is very present, especially the sequence 5:57 to 6:40 could be an original excursion from "The Barbarian", but it's not in the least epigonal, it's new and fantastic.

Amazing Todd Sucherman with Jordon Rudess on other releases ? This is a dream come true and the biggest secret beside who killed Epstein ! I am so excited I found this group, I just purchased everything available on Amazon, staying up all night listening to this amazingly written and performed music ! THANK YOU! Its like discovering Porcupine Tree when nobody knew about them in the late 90's!!! This sounds like ELP meets Krimson Meets UK !

Sorry für den Verriss von "Con Brio", dafür habt Ihr hier das genaue Gegenteil eingespielt. Die zweite CD "Aviation" ist excellent, sowohl was die abwechslungsreichen Stücke betrifft, als auch die Arrangements. Besonders positiv ist der Gesang von Jake Livgren ( hat der was mit Kerry Livgren von Kansas zu tun ? ), dem hätte man durchaus mehr Stücke geben können. Mein Lieblingsstück hier ist "An Adventurous Journey", bei dem die Nylon-Gitarre Gänsehaut bewirkt.
Das ganze Album hat wesentlich mehr Hand und Fuss als das erste, vielleicht habt Ihr einfach eins zum Warmlaufen gebraucht, ist ja nicht weiter schlimm.
Ich bin selbst Musiker und Komponist, weiß also, wieviel Arbeit hinter einem solchen Projekt steckt, nix für ungut !
Ich werde Fan bleiben, das steht hiermit fest !
Freut uns sehr, dass AVIATION gefällt 🙏 und ja, Jake ist tatsächlich mit Kerry verwandt. Und vielleicht Con Brio noch ein zweite Chance einräumen? Manchmal braucht es etwas mehr Zeit bevor ein Titel verfängt. Wobei Du als Musiker und Komponist das natürlich weißt😉
Everything is good and interesting except that guitar solo in the middle of the song, just unnecessary. And a bad lead, I must say. The song is great though.
I like it, for me it is the perfect introduction to the the keyboard solo a couple of bars later after the short bass guitar intermezzo
