This is what 50 + years of rock and roll talent sounds like. They forgot more about rock and roll than most bands today ever learned in the first place. Killer rhythm.

@@JuneEsWorld - unfortunately "I had no idea"... Came across a Fanny track on Beatclub, liked it and dug deeper. Sounds like you and your sister haven't lost a beat. I only just discovered these amazing ladies, it goes to show the Australian music industry in the 70s, obviously pre-internet, only let us hear what they thought would sell... I'm on the other side of 60... it annoys me intensely that I wasn't able to appreciate Fanny when I was a teenager. And now the rhythm section is mother and son? Just incredible.
As a Filipino/American male musician, there were few role models in the U.S. for people like myself to watch or learn from when I started out. I only knew of Filipino musicians or entertainers that were successful from the Phillipines being a nephew of Paraluman, the famous actress from the Phillipines. I didn't know who Jean or June Millington were until I read the Premier Guitar article and saw the videos related to the article. Their music was before my time but I give props to the Millington sisters for writing & playing great music, being a role model, being extremely talented, perservering in an industry that was male dominated & racist, and was one of the few Filipino/American female musicians to reach that level of success in a time when the music industry was still open to younger artists. Thanks June & Jean for keeping me inspired by their music & talent.
Yup, we're still here ~ Jean's had a stroke, tho, and is working her way back to the bass. Go to www.gofundme.com/jean-millington-go please, if you'd like to help out! xx June

What a thrill and what a joy! To see and hear Fanny again! Thank you very much for this video. You continue to be queens of rock! Greetings from Argentina.
Love this. Thanks for posting. Didn’t know these women were still rocking. As a fledgling music journalist I interviewed June Millington in her Fanny days. They were OG girl rockers! Wonder if Larkin Poe girls know of them.
This is really good. Ever since I saw that documentray early this year or late last year, I've been a fan! Jean's a damn good bass play; she's like Nick Beggs, so underrated! Thanks for this upload...! P.S. What's the name of this song...?!

I discovered Fanny recently and this is awesome to watch and hear. She definitely is slapping that bass proper! The funk is strong here.
Yes! The Millington sisters are BOTH killin' it!
Playing bass and singing at the same time is not easy! Jeane manages to do it very well!
