Why move to far away from us, Oh Beloved... Cries Every street, every road, every pathway of the city of Sri Anandpur Sahib and wailed in pain...
In those streets where the youngest part of my heart, Fateh Singh gaily played day and night... In those streets where he ran up and down and brought joy, prosperity and happiness, says Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji...
But today in those same streets, in those same roads and the same pathways, the poisonous snakes of the enemies wriggle around like serpents ready to pounce upon us, attack, kill and wipe us out...
We cannot bear the burden of slavery upon our heads of the strangers from lands afar... Cries out Every street, every road, every pathway of the city of Sri Anandpur Sahib and wails out in pain...
Memories of my other sons Zorawar, Ajit and Jujhar come rushing to mind as they lit up the town and brought life, happiness and joy to all people all the time...
