I got around 750-800 hours of Oblivion with only 2 different characters (I did like every quest with both, except my second character is yet to finish main questline, KotN and Museum of Oddities quest) and only recently found out about The Rosethorn Cache, a very short quest and Umbacano's lengthy questline that took me quite a long time to wrap up (I was searching by myself for all Ayleid statues too). So yeah, the game can still surprise you even today.
@@GeoShed Respect for just slogging it out, but I like having the easy feed target to use if having to exclusively adventure at night gets too grating for me.
I love videos like this. I have close to 600 hours of unmodded Oblivion played across 8ish characters and over a decade of irl time. Yet I have never seen the jumbo potato quest, or the hire a maid quest. I’ll be sure to run through them real quick next time I boot it up!
Elder scrolls games are awesome that way :D I have way more hours and characters than you, but I still ran across a new thing last time I was playing. It is an unique cave called Sideways cave. Check that out if you haven't. It's located northeast of the Imperial City. There is no quest related, it's just a cool place. :) Save before entering second area of the cave because of a bug.
Thank you for the continued support! :) it’s been a really fun time so far! I still remember you as one of my first 10 or so subscribers so a HUGE shout out to YOU my friend! :)
I agree! It's the little things like these that really flesh out a world. It also takes the player's mind off of the big important quests, allowing them to feel a sense of calm, a sense of the mundane little aspects of life, that many RPG's overlook. This allows the player to truly enjoy the world that they are in for so long and to really appreciate the people that inhabit it. This is a personal take, but I think the best RPG's allow you to feel like you're a part of their world - not some grand lofty otherworldly hero sent from the aether to save everyone, but a citizen with the right skills and the right knowledge in the right place at the right time to possibly be the one to save everyone. Maybe you are the hero, maybe you're not and someone else must be, but you could be the one, so you step up to the plate, be it for noble, opportunistic, or chaotic reasons. (Yes, the dropping off of the amulet is a call to adventure, but you could theoretically just drop it off and go about your merry way as a freed prisoner, leaving someone else to fill the role of the Hero of Kvatch, albeit from a harder starting position. I love it!)
I totally agree! I really like the Hero of Kvatch angle that oblivion takes! Your no one special (at least not totally) and your the to help the special people along the adventure!

The fact you can consistently upload great Oblivion content is astonishing
I really appreciate it! I’m just too excited to continue to tell stories about Cyrodiil! :)
@@ABardsBallad Thanks, there aren't many channels talking about all the small things in the game like this
I never even knew about all this Skingrad stuff... To be fair, i just buy the craphole in the waterfront and call it good 😅
😂 I think most of us do the same! Or buy the Anvil’s haunted mansion 😂
The advantage to Rosethorn Hall is if you're a vampire, Eyja becomes a good and easy feed candidate.
More I somehow missed 😂
@tylerwisner8682 I just raw dog being a full vampire 😆 consequences be damned

Nice to see that you upload alot, the quality is also really good. Keep it up! Enjoying your vids alot
Thank you for the support! I really enjoy making these videos and I’m glad oblivion still has a big following after all these years!
Agreed. These are great

There are some really interesting hidden little quests in Oblivion! It’s really cool to come across them after all these years!
Sweet some quests to do
Hope you enjoy! :)
A servant for a 1 time payment sounds... very morrowind.. 👀
to be fair youre paying like 15 years salary upfront
But why only in skingrad chorool also has a room for a maid.
So I haven’t tried it with the Chorrol servants quarters! It might work, but from what I read Skingrad seems to be where Eyja wants to work!
@@ABardsBallad ok thanks
I'm struggling to keep up with your releases 😂
How on earth do you pump out such bangers at such a fast rate ❤
2:34 missed opportunity to say ogre-all...
Ahhh I didn’t even think of it! Maybe I’ll be that clever in the next one!
Another fantastic video. Crazy to see you explode over the last month. Keep crushing it

The mage's guild ring in the well quest can be done quickly, assuming your carry weight doesn't come into play.
That’s very true! I might have to include it in the part 2!
Most of the Master Training quests seem to go like: go and find the master trainer, you've already done what they ask, quest complete.
Just sub and keep them coming I love the elder scrolls serious and oblivion was my first one

I always found being able to outright buy a maid for rosethorn hall a bit odd for sure.
Never knew the last two quests existed
I really hope someday I find oblivion base game quests I’ve never done. I would love to see overall how many hours I’ve played this game.
I hope maybe I can find and talk about more quests that you haven’t been able to do yet! :)
There’s gotta be one for sure
