Thanks buddy, I personally always find it important to put some context of price. Sure it will be different depending on what country you're in but it still give a ballpark figure
I know you love the miyoo. I wonder why you didn’t look into the powkiddy A66. I think the most unique handheld are the pocketgo s30 which was $60 but skyrocketed. The Game Force Chi which I hope doesn’t disappear and the RG353P which they tried to clone the pocketgo s30.
I've got an A66 I still keep meaning to review, lol! It's great for Handheld emulation but I'm pretty disappointed in the home console stuff 😕 I'm yet to mod a though which I know improves things a lot! Yeah those other consoles all seem awesome, I just need some decent time checking them out. Cheers buddy!
Some of them like the Anbernic devices and Miyoo Mini have the option of coming with an SD Card that has games already loaded on them. Other devices like Retroid and AYN you need to download the games. You can find them using a simple Google search of the the game name and Rom. Retroid and AYN can connect using the built-in Chrome browser and download directly.
Depends which one you're after. Retroid devices straight from the Retroid store AYN straight from the AYN store Anbernic from the official Anbernic Ali Express store
Great! Man, I love the Miyoo Mini, unfortunately I could not get one :( hope will be back in stock soon... by the way, what is the game at 2:38? looks very fun!
Cheers buddy!! The game was Mario Golf Advance Tour 😉 Have you seen the RG35XX. Looks like a better version of the Miyoo Mini and easier to get 👍 a.aliexpress.com/_mshR3xG
Very nice list. Even though I have the very awesome Steam Deck, that Ayn Odin Pro looks pretty dope. Does it have analog triggers or no? That Retroid Pocket 3 looks nice and sleek too, but I'd be worried about getting a subpar screen or something.
Yes, the Odin is rocking analog triggers. He's not lying when he's says it's a beast. Now if you ask me, it should have been #1, however, I'm Pretty sure it was listed at #2 due to the price. Even though the Odin knocks the chips out of the RP3, and for what it can emulate it's worth every penny.
The retro handheld market need link play more them anything else. 2+ player games that you can play together. Being able to pkay Pokémon with other handhelds should also be a thing. I never play Pokémon however retro Pokémon was super fun. These adds would change retro handhelds in the best way possible. Miyoo mini no doubt should do this and I will buy it asap and another for a close friend.
@@razzarelli1988 u have to put the downloaded games (if u search them, search for rom or iso) on the SD card, best in the right folder (ps1 games in the ps1 folder etc) the most china retro handhelds are filled with games but on android systems there are no games, there u have to make all folder by yourself and direct the emulators to it(sry for bad english)
I am 53 and disabled from pain so playing games daily is my only option sadly. And my PS4 just doesn't have enough RPGs. It's a bummer having a 120 bucks in electronics just sitting on my dresser collecting dust, thanks
All you need to do is get your rom file for the game you want to play then put it in the relevant console folder on your device. Then point your emulator to the right place and it should work fine.
It's tricky mate, mot only the competition out there now, but also the knowledge that are so close to brilliant PS2 and GC emulation right out of the box.
@@seanglynn336 I got mine from indiegogo earlier this year, before the British pound became so weak. I think the conversion to HKD is not as favourable right now.
I believe it's to do with the required power of the processor. There are systems out there that are great for PS2 emulation but they're really expensive.
Thanks the emulator developers...all this chinese console especially android based one just stole their works and put it in their device without crediting any of the developers that makes it possible especially dolphin and aethersx2....
Nice list. Glad you said the prices. Everyone is shying away from that nowadays.

great video man keep em coming! have my odin pro waiting for me when i get home today. had the rp2+ to tide me over until now. i cant wait to ascend!
Oh man!! There's nothing quite like having an awesome new device waiting for you back at home 😁
I agree.. Retroid Pockt 3 is amazing. I have 7 handheld game consoles. And this is my favorite.
It is such a fantastic console. It perfectly captures the essence of handheld gaming 👌
How do you actually get the retro games onto these consoles? I am researching to buy 1 as a gift. Thank you

Retroid devices straight from the Retroid store
AYN straight from the AYN store
Anbernic from the official Anbernic Ali Express store
Not sure to get rg35xx or a cheaper powkiddy v90. What do you recommend with a budget around $60?
The RG35XX is much better than the V90. The V90 struggles with SNES games unless modded. I'd definitely get the RG35XX.
@@ChronikSpartan Thx for the reply. Cant wait to receive my first retro handheld.

Yes it does

been using anbernic rg350 for 2 years now. my next upgrade would be retroid pocket 3.
That's a great next step 👌
im in the same boat as you my friend. RG350M owner and looking for that upgrade to take my dreamcast games on the go

That's the Pokémon Arceus Switch Lite 😉

Yeah that's a good shout, hopefully the KT R1 might do something in this area.
Are games preloaded? I'm not good at adding games.
not on all. but it's ez to put games on it if there are no games

RG351 for sure if you could push it to 100 then RP2+

Retroid pocket 3 or anbernic rg353v?
I prefer the horizontal form factor, so I would say RP3
Still no nearer to picking one of these up.

A mixture of what I paid from the vendors and prices on eBay

Since ios suck, and you cant get an emulator on it, without it being revoked, (or jailbreaking iphone) I actually need one of these handhelds
Which one are you most interested in?
@@ChronikSpartan Miyoo I think, cause it looks like gameboy, and it is small enough, comparing with giant psp

Yeah I think a lot of people are
I honestly can't understand anyone interested in the ayan odin and such they are far too expensive compared to the steam deck at this point
Right now I think you're right, but at the time they released nothing could touch it price wise.
